This was probably the best meal Ive ever had in my life. We had the cooked oysters, filet, and crab legs. Everything was amazing. The craft drinks are fun to watch be made and the service was exceptional.

We recently visited Bimini's to celebrate my mother's birthday, and while the service and atmosphere were outstanding, the food unfortunately fell short of expectations.
From the start, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. Each server was attentive and friendly, making the experience enjoyable on that front. The ambiance was also impressive, with a warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for a celebratory dinner.
However, the food itself left a lot to be desired. We ordered two filet mignons, one well done and the other medium-well. Both were disappointingly dry and lacking in flavor. Admittedly, I usually order my steak well done and understand it may come out slightly less tender, but this was beyond my experience--flavorless and overly dry. My mother's medium-well filet suffered the same issues, leaving us both underwhelmed.
We also tried the mashed potatoes, which tasted like they may have come from a box, lacking the fresh, creamy texture you'd expect at a restaurant of this caliber. My husband ordered a pasta dish, and unfortunately, it was so underwhelming that he couldn't bring himself to finish it.
The beverages, on the other hand, were excellent. We enjoyed a few well-prepared drinks that complemented the enjoyable atmosphere. Yet, leaving with a bill around $400, we couldn't help but feel that the food did not live up to the price point--especially when compared to our first visit in 2016, which had left a much better impression.
Overall, while the service and environment were top-notch, the food was a disappointment, especially for a place known for its steaks. It's a shame, as my experience with Biminis in 2016 was great especially the food.

My husband and I went to this restaurant for dinner. I just wanted soup and salad. I received my soup which was really good. My husband ordered the seared Ahi tuna which was supposed to have been served when my salad arrived. That didn’t happen and when my husband asked the waiter about his dinner, they brought it out cold! They offered to reheat it (reheat Ahi, really??). so needless to say, we left.

I had dinner here for the first time last night and it was so delicious. I ordered the special Halibut with a maple glazed, Steak with mushroom sauce, Rice and veggies with a chocolate mousse for dessert. Lisandra and Tony provided amazing service making sure we had everything we needed too.

I cant say enough positive about this steakhouse, its gorgeous inside. Clean, smells amazing and the vibe inside is 5 out of 5. Now to the main point the food!!!! I orderd the lamb chops and I can honestly say they are the best ones I have tried EVER! My wife had a fillet miñon and she was blown away... if your into fine dining and have the opportunity please treat yourself to this restaurant you will not regret it. It's a shame I live in Oklahoma if bot i would be here often!!!!

The service and food were top notch. My filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My husband had the prime rib, it was huge and he said it was one of the best he has ever had. Our server was new, but you never would have guessed it. Really nice place for dinner in relaxed setting. I would return and recommend this place to anyone looking for nice dinner.

We had a Tomahawk ribeye and it was absolutely delicious especially with the garlic bernaise sauce. And the servers were wonderful. As someone who has celiac disease, the fact they made homemade gluten free bread for me was beyond any expectations we had.

Major letdown. While the service started out strong, it faltered down the line when it counted, along with the food.

I started with a tableside cocktail, which was fun. My wife had a glass of wine. After that, we skipped appetizers and went straight to the main course.

I ordered the Australian waygu New York strip. While perfectly seasoned, the steak was cooked unevenly, with the ends being medium well and only the center being medium rare. It also was lacking in any added flavor that the marbling of an Australian waygu steak would provide. It was no better than a choice steak I'd cook for myself from the supermarket. Additionally, the steak knife provided was so dull I ended up finishing my steak with a table knife.

My wife had the lobster crusted sea bass. It was perfectly cooked, but it tasted off, almost rotten. The orzo was nice, but the minted pea coulis didn't fit the dish.

Where the ball was dropped at this point was the attentativeness of the staff. Any decent restaurant would have asked if there was a problem with the fish. My wife got tired of waiting so long that she went back to her room. I never got to ask for a sharper knife because we never saw our wait staff again. I also would have liked to have a glass of red wine with my steak, but nobody checked to see that my cocktail glass had long been empty.

This is supposed to be upscale dining, but the only thing upscale about our experience was the price.

Food was incredible with an extensive wine list! 20% off with local players card is an amazing deal as well.

We've been here several times, but tonight, our server Patrick was just awesome! The food was amazing, the service, even better. We're locals, so we know there's plenty of steakhouse competition, but Bimini's is still one of the best in Reno!

We went for dinner here while staying at the Peppermill and I ordered the filet mignon 8 oz and my husband ordered the prime rib. Everything is a la carte here so we also ordered the scallop potatoes and creamed spinach. They brought us a complimentary sorbet with prosecco which was delightful. We also were able to order a half bottle of wine. The food was delicious and the service was overall good. My only complaint is the pushy servers trying to upsell you to pricier items on the menu. Before we ordered the server recommended a $198 item that he said was his favorite! We had 2 servers and they were talking about how they need to talk us into desserts too. I think that was very unprofessional to say that within earshot of us. They seemed very concerned about getting us to increase our bill. That was my only complaint here at Bimini.

We had a great time at this location. Atmosphere was not as loud as we thought, but I will say the restaurant is a bit outdated.

The food, however, was spot on and extremely delicious. Our server was very attentive and we really appreciated his knowledge of the menu. We will return thank you.
