I am a bit behind in this review, but I must say this place was really good. My husband and I went there for our anniversary, and it was an incredible experience! We did the Tableside Caesar Salad for two, and they even make the dressing right in front of you! We also had the Tableside Steak Diane, and the show for that was impressive. We shared a side of the Maine Lobster Whipped Potatoes, which was pretty good as well. Since it was our anniversary, we got a dessert and split it. It isn't on their menu now (or perhaps it's only served for special occasions), but I think it was a Chocolate Mousse something (picture is attached). And we also really enjoyed the tableside manner of our server, Robert!

I was really looking forward to celebrating my birthday here, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. If you do decide to visit, I recommend parking in the garage--it's quite a walk from the Virginia Street parking lot. Service started off okay, but the pacing felt off. We were rushed at the beginning, then experienced a long gap after our appetizer, salad, and soup before our entrées arrived. The food itself was just okay, with nothing that truly stood out. From the complimentary bread to the entrées, most dishes were bland, and there wasn't anything we would order again. The Wagyu and Tomahawk steaks tasted as though they were of lesser quality. The King Crab legs were prepared well and easy to eat (market price $141), but still nothing to rave about. This was especially noticeable when compared to several steakhouses we've dined at in Reno and Sparks, and it doesn't come close to the quality of steakhouses in Las Vegas or Hawaii. Desserts were better--the Poached Pear, Cherry Cheesecake, and 6-Layer Chocolate Cake--but even the Banana Foster didn't quite measure up to others I've had. My son did enjoy the Old Forester flight. The Pineapple Margarita was just okay, and my daughter appreciated the server making her an affogato. Oddly, the server used some "sayings" throughout the evening that made us pause. He also didn't acknowledge that it was my birthday, which was disappointing given the occasion and the notation on our reservation. It makes you wonder why there's even a section for accommodations if it doesn't matter. On a positive note, our busser, Spencer, was great and very attentive. Overall, the whole experience fell short of what I had hoped for as a birthday dinner celebration and unfortunately ended the evening on a disappointing note, especially considering the nearly $800 bill.

Adrian was our server. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming, they steak and chicken was amazing! The chocolate cake was a bit too rich, with there was more fruit on it but it was still yummy! Thank you guys!

I’ve been to The Peppermill twice and I visited Bimini Steakhouse both times and this is what I think.
Food : Awesome! Steak was tender,Sea bass was fresh and perfectly seasoning.Fries was great! Fresh cut and season with garlic parmesan. What a perfect way to eat fries.Sorbet with a touch of champaign to get ready for main course was a good refreshing And bread basket was super yummy.
Service : Great! And nothing can beat table side old fashioned. They took very good care of us as well.
Vibe : Cozy and classic. Most or maybe all of the seating are boots which we really like.
Reservation recommended.
Next time I’m going to The Peppermill.Bimini will be my first choice for sure.

Perfect for a birthday celebration. Luxurious, relaxed, and delicious. We felt spoiled. Recommend the beet salad, French onion soup and filet.

Pretty disappointing experience when you are spending almost 200 dollars a person. Service was not great, took quite a bit of time to be even get a server to take our drink order. My steak was over cooked while my girlfriends was undercooked. Drinks did not come out when they were supposed too. For the best steakhouse in the city this was an incredibly underwhelming experience. If you're thinking about splurging and treating yourself you might want to look elsewhere.

It is a big, bright and somewhat loud restaurant. The service was not great and my lamb chops were not cooked properly. The table side Caesar salad was the best part. It is very expensive for what you get, and I don’t mind spending money for a good experience. They tried to charge us for 3 desserts and we did order any. They need to train the wait staff.

I’ve enjoyed several “high end” steak restaurants and this was by far the worst. Could have ate at a Texas Roadhouse for 1/4 of the price and twice the meal. I understand that the style of beef and where it’s procured is a big deal, but you still have to understand how to cook it.

Omg!! This place was exactly what I needed when I needed it. After a 2 year deployment I missed a delicious old fashioned. If you know anything about old fashioned you know it can be hard to find someone who makes them well. Mo made mine and it did not disappoint. Thank you for making my first drink post deployment an excellent one. Lisandra and Eric were my servers and they were so kind and attentive. They didn't judge my attire or unkempt appearance at all...simply served me with smiles and kindness. I really appreciate you guys! I will most definitely be back. Cheers!

Just ok. My wife and I used to frequent 5 star Restaurants in Scottsdale, Arizona frequently… we were hoping for similar experience, but not even close.

The Wagyu Filet wasn’t any more special that a Filet at any other local Steakhouse. It was the Australian cut. Our stay here was a month ago, and none of the other food was memorable. The drink we ordered was delicious. But only good for a few swallows and an empty glass of ice.

We loved the Casino, but learned a valuable lesson and will eat at local restraints elsewhere when we visit.

Absolutely incredible dining experience! The peppercorn-crusted New York steak was perfectly cooked — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The peppercorn crust added the perfect balance of spice and texture, making every bite memorable. The wine selection was outstanding, offering a wide range of choices that paired beautifully with the meal. The manager was exceptionally helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and that we found the ideal wine pairing. Outstanding service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere — highly recommend!

Amazing service. Our server John made the night unforgettable with his personality alone. It was our first time dining and we will definitely be back for our next celebration!
