Amazing dining experience from moment of entry to finish of meal. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.
The food was excellent. I was super impressed by the attention the new owner gave to the customers. Thank you so much to the chef and all the staff.
We have frequented this restaurant a few times. This is the SECOND time we were charged a different price for our meal or wine that was stated on the menu. When brought to the manager's attention, she said sorry. No compensation. BEWARE of this. If it has happened to us twice (out of visiting three times), I can't imagine how many times this has happened to others.
I ate there last night with a large group. I've eaten them many times in the past. we had the Sea Bass. it was uneatable. It was tough and like rubber. I could not cut it with my knife. This was a consistent theme around the table. I'm not sure what's happened to their food. Somebody else in our group had the steak and could not eat this. We are polite enough not to complain but the food was terrible.

Service was EXCELLENT! The space is warm and welcoming and feels upscale. I had a seafood stew which was also excellent but the main courses were totally underwhelming both in taste, consistency and presentation. We each had the chicken picatta - a few chunks of chicken breast and some soggy rice drenched in a sauce which, while edible, tastes like Lean Cuisine. Three anemic sprigs of asparagus made up the “roasted vegetables”‘listed in the menu. Totally adequate but would not order again.
Great food. We stayed late a the staff was kind. The sea bass and black rice are off the charts yummy
Calamari was amazing! Cocktails were just ok. Great ambiance. Not too noisy, good lighting. Attentive servers.
The house martini is great. I subbed gin for the vodka. The sea bass special was underwhelming. The fish was bland and boring. The zucchini noodles amd orzo were very good, which somewhat rescued the dish.
Entrees Rib Eye, Top Sirloin, Walnut and pesto encrusted cedar plank salmon, french dip and calamari were cooked perfectly. Food arrived to the table lukewarm. The frites with the top sirloin were cold and chewy, the mashed potatoes burned everyone's mouth and appeared to be over seasoned with white pepper. I'll probably won't return for dinner but for appetizers and wine/cocktails.
Food was no good. Their rendition of chicken piccata was more like fettuccini Alfredo with a plain chicken breast across the top. The chicken tasted like...a plain chicken breast. It was tender but had zero flavor. It was cooked in anything- simply laid across the top of the pasta dish. My guess is the head chef, if there is one, or the management never tried this dish before. I took most of it home. When I opened the container, the food was sitting in a sea of oil. My friend's salmon was good. Our server Bri was excellent. Unfortunately we won't be going back. This was the second and final visit. I should mention we were able to make a reservation at any time, hours prior on a Friday evening. I found that odd. Upon leaving, three women were outside waiting for their ride. They stopped us to ask us how our dinner was. They proceeded to “lift off” on how horrible their food was- they mentioned the pizza and salads.

Food preparation time was unusually long for a Thursday night with not that many customers dining. Bre was cheerful and helpful and very attentive as well as apologetic for the long wait.
Service was great. Unfortunately, the meal quality did not measure up. The Vegan pizza/flatbread was lacking in flavor. The Cedar Plank Salmon was very oily and not very pleasant. I have been there before for lunch and been very pleased. Perhaps dinner is a bit more of a challenge.
Ahi poke is a perfect-sized full meal unless shared for table. Super fresh; highly recommended for light eaters.
I'm not one to leave bad reviews unless I am compelled to by a particularly bad experience. Typically, I just walk away and do not return. That said, every aspect of this establishment was a misrepresentation of fine dining. First off, we wee stuck in traffic so we called telling them we would be 10 minutes late, and we were told that we will not seat you 1 minute after 8:10 P.M. we arrived at exactly 8:10 and were greeted with, " it's a good thing you made it" with a side of attitude. To view their website, you are led to believe you are going to have a great dining experience. The space is tacky and feels like a glorified cafeteria/ family pancake house. We ordered two of their specialty cocktails, and were told after 10 minutes that there was no Aperol or Campari used in two different cocktails. Scratch that. We just made the last 2 drinks with those ingredients. Mm hmm, sure. Nice inventory control. This was a birthday dinner for me, and we intentionally ordered dishes that cannot be screwed up without trying to do so. We were already confident that we were not going to allow ourselves to regret ordering a higher end entrees only to be disappointed. We were going to have a do over for the birthday dinner at a decent restaurant. We were proven wrong as they managed to present us with food that neither of us took more than 2 bites. A French dip with au jus that was nothing more than drippings from the pan including the fat grizzle etc., and a pulled pork sandwich that was so soggy, you could not pick it up. Our dog did enjoy the beef from the French dip though. At any rate, if you intend to have a Dennys type meal with products likely from Sysco, this place is for you.
Bistro 7 is outstanding and very well worth the price. The salmon and the sea bass is to die for!
