What a great spot for some truly unique deserts. Bring your appetite or plan on sharing. Their desert option are big portions. The deserts are built and look like edible art with a mason jar as the foundation. The gentleman that was making our deserts was very helpful as we tried to decide between the options. He even did a little customization to my wife's and mine because we like carmel. Would definitely recommend

I went to Black Rock Desserts with my friend Frankie and had just a wonderfully time, this is a great place to take your family too ! This place is a family business and everybody helps out serving their customers. I can't say enough praise for this family and the effort they make to make you feel at home, just a great family !
There is seating inside and outside, you can socialize with your loved ones in a great atmosphere, the ambiance is down to earth.
Now about the ice-cream, find out for yourself, you will not be disappointed! There's a variety of splendid flavors to choose from, your taste buds will thank you.
I got to meet Glenda and Marlon's father Fausto who actually offered to pick up my friend Frankie, who is disabled. At the end of the evening, Glenda helped me get my friend into my car, thank you Glenda!

Great ice cream and great name!

Loved Black Rock! All the ice cream is homemade and the owner was so nice. He let me sample almost all of them, really fantastic. Some unique flavors like turmeric and lavender chocolate, both were delicious. Highly recommended!!!

If I could give them 0 stars I would, although the staff is friendly this has been one of the worst places I have visited in Reno, I ordered a chocolate ice cream cone and the ice cream had a strange taste and a very strange texture and the cone was old, I could not eat it, also they do not offer any type of topping for your cone, they have little variety of flavors, the other desserts they had looked old, my partner ordered an Oreo milkshake and it was very bad

This place was way too good. Amazing flavors and service. They seem to be creative with the flavors. Had Chai and Earl Grey... flavors were SPOT ON.
Owner was very nice and open for new ideas.

Pricing was cheap/competitive considering other ice cream places we went in the area.
