The steak and eggs were great. Cindy my server was excellent. It was my first experience at the Branding Iron and it was a great one.

A short drive from The Row, you will enjoy Branding Iron Cafe in The Bonanza Casino. If you're looking for a place with comfort food, look no further. My party and I ordered the Campfire Breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage and ham. Another plate had delicious potatoes and bacon. Service was friendly and they even accommodated us having to move to a bigger table for more folks to join. Cindy and Sonia deserve all the praise! My coffee was always filled up and the price was just right! Definitely will return when in town again for a place that beats out the usual Denny's or iHop vibe.

They had very good service, always asked if we needed anything and gave refills often ?Parking: The parking is right in front of the building so you don't have to walk a lot to get in.Kid-friendliness: The environment was cute and clean, and they have kid friendly food.

I live in Stead, so the Bonanza is Casino is convenient for a good sit down meal. I wish it were still open seven nights a week on graveyard still. However, I still frequent the Branding Iron Cafe during the day time for breakfast or lunch. I don't do many yelp reviews, and this one is about an employee. Her name is Luyen. Whether I'm with my wife or friends we are always greeted with a smile. She takes our drink order and returns promptly. She always offers refills through our whole meal. She is a true ambassador. That's it. My wife and I enjoy her company, and our friends do too. Thank you !

Food is always consistently well made. The service is always top notch and the main reason I eat here. Savannah and Luyen are wonderful people and bring their A game every time.

This is a terrific restaurant. The menu is extensive and inclusive, the staff is efficient and welcoming, the food was excellent, the decor is comfortable. Very impressive. Our servers were Nikki and Luyen, both of whom were attentive and friendly. The prices are low to moderate and this restaurant is highly recommended. Merritt Weisinger Spanish Springs, NV

Standard comfort food fare in a pleasant casino, old west environment. I visit Reno every year and always stop here at least once per trip. Sometimes more. Service has always been excellent for me. Smaller casino is probably more geared to locals, which I like. North of town about 1.5 miles on "The Old 395". Avoids the downtown hustle and bustle for a slightly less chaotic experience. Plenty of close-in parking. Yes I recommend this cafe

Service is garbage. Last two times we went they weren't even busy and the waitress and buss boy bearly managed to take our orders and never came back to check on us. When it was time for the check both times we waited over 20 minutes before we finally tracked our server down to ask for a check. This last time we gave up and went strait to the counter and payed. Definitely do not recommend and definitely won't ever be back.

Our only time there. Pretty sure we won't be going back. The main reasons as follows: The buffet is too expensive for the amount of food selections compared to all the other places in Reno that have MUCH larger selections and better food quality. For $45 buffet that we paid, it was skimpy. Also, the quality was not there. Example, the crab was very slim legs with little crab meat inside. It is the lowest price and quality that can be bought. Our main concern was the extremely smoky environment. Since it is a really old building and seems to not have a separate ventilation system for the restaurant area, cigarette smoke from the Casino circulates in there. It was really annoying. Wife had a headache as we left. And lastly, I guess it is not that important, yet service was nonexistent even though the place was only half full, and not that busy. Twice I asked for a refill of tea and she forgot both time. She never came by to see if we needed anything. Bottom line is that this place needs to be completely remodeled after decades of wear and tear.

Came here New Years Eve as it's close to the house and we were just hungry and wanted something convenient. They had their buffet due to the holiday. They used to have one daily, however after COVID they stopped that. My husband had the buffet, and I ate from their regular menu. I got the chicken wings and a side of garlic fries. The chicken wings were drenched in Franks, to the point that it filled half of the paper-lined basket, and made a mess. The oil/butter in the garlic fries were the same, and they were also undercooked. The buffet was $44! Made the mistake of not asking before my husband agreed to it. Toucan Charlie's at the Atlantis is much better for close to the same price. In total, $77 for the not so great food.
