🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Cactus Creek Prime Steakhouse – A Hidden Gem in Reno!
I’ve dined at Cactus Creek Prime Steakhouse at least 20 times, and every single visit has been absolutely exceptional. The food, service, and atmosphere are consistently top-notch.
Jose, the manager, is a standout — incredibly engaging and always makes sure guests feel welcome. His hospitality sets the tone for the entire dining experience.
From expertly prepared steaks to creative new menu items (like the mouthwatering dishes in my photos!), this place nails it every time. The wine list is impressive, and the high-end cocktails are just as memorable.
Whether you’re visiting for a special occasion or just a quality night out, this place delivers every time. The value you get here is unbeatable for the quality of food and service.
Honestly, this is one of the best-kept secrets in Reno — a true hidden gem. Try it once, and I promise you’ll be coming back.

Not worth the time or money. This was our 3rd time at CCPS and our last. I ordered the ribeye and even inquired if the cut is better than it was a few months ago, it’s not. Server was clueless or apathetic. My ribeye was grisly and very fatty and bland. It’s best not to have any expectations about quality food in this town.

First off l have tried every popular steakhouse in the Reno area. I must say eating at Cactus Creek was so far the best, in every aspect. I had the filet mignon baked potato, and wedge salad. My husband had the blackened prime rib with the jumbo shrimp on top. Which l got one of😉. Everything was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Portions were very generous. In fact l took the left over meat and baked potatoes, and chopped it up for a delicious breakfast the next morning. On another note we had a wonderful waitress, who was very attentive but not intrusive. Topping our wine glasses and making sure everything was to our liking ,Thankyou Debra you were great! All the staff were good even the guy who package our left overs. He packed everything up and l mean even the condiments. I highly recommend this restuarant, we will certainly be back and will be adding it to our favorite dining out spots. Go and experience a great dinner.

David, bartender at Cactus Creek is great! Made our Sunday night!
I always enjoy coming to this amazing steakhouse because Jose is a great guy who takes excellent care of me and my friend every time we come. They do a fantastic job with the Prime Rib, and the Caesar salad with artichoke fish is delicious. All the staff are very friendly.

Service was excellent, than you Luyen
I love luyen and Cindy they are very kind and so hot❤️❤️❤️
You're better off going to Blue Ribbon Butcher and making your steak yourself. They forgot my sauteed mushrooms side and my partner's Mac and cheese. My medium ribeye was pretty much still mooing. They seated us by the door even though the whole place was mostly empty. They don't have a mocktails menu. I know you probably got gift cards from Costco for Christmas and think it's a good idea to go try it out. Just know what you're getting into.
