Dinner at the Cactus Creek Bar was once again wonderful, sad to see Kylene go but love the staff especially Jose . Keep up the great job of being the best-in Reno

This place used to be so good! Last two times, not so much. This most recent time, my petite filet arrived with an odd color, was slimy and tasted "off." I asked hubby to take a bite, and he said the same thing. The steak was spoiled. We sent it back and they took it off the bill. No apology from the waiter. The bigger concern is: How are they storing their meat? Sadly, we're done with Cactus Creek. I have no problems paying $60+ for a good petite filet, but this place is off my list. We'll stick with HK, Western Village, and the new steakhouse at J.

The best fine dining in Northern Nevada. The Cactus Creek offers wonderful food drinks and service in a quiet atmosphere. The prime rib is the best I've ever had and the New England clam chowder soup is so good we ordered extra to take home

Love this place! Love the curving adobe walls with pole beams and "windows" that look " out " into the dark night. You see wolves howling at the moon, and dark villages against the desert landscapes. Beautiful! Haven't been here in years. It's the same yet different. No bow tied waiter joining you at the table, describing the delicacies that await. There is a slightly more casual feel. The service is still great, and the food incredible. I chose the Duckhirn Chardonnay and a side salad, which was so prettty with colorful radishes. The bread basket was a little...as my husband said "dry". My seafood pan roast, was wonderful with big chunks of salmon, lots of scallops and shrimp. My husband had the pasta de mare, and enjoyed it.

Five stars are simply not enough. The food was magnificent. Our server Alexa took care of us as if we were family and the manager Jose could not have been more helpful! The entire staff was just great. It was my 70th birthday dinner and Kathy and I were just thrilled to be able to spend it here. The soup was so good we ordered some to go. The steak was perfect. As were the vegetables and potatoes and the bread was divine. This place Rocks! We will be back!

Nikki was very friendly, and she brought my whole milk to the table. I already had asked the other server to bring it to me and SHE DIDN’T. I waited 20 minutes after that, I mentioned to Nikki and she went and got the milk right away. I really appreciate her service and her cordial attitude .Parking: Very easy to park right in front of the main door

I decided to try this once after seeing their advertisements for years. It sounded like it'd be a great place to go for a special occasion. The service was very good, and the atmosphere was what you'd expect from a high end steak house. The prices were pretty high, dinner for four with a couple cocktails and bottle of moscato came to $300. My issue is that the food was more like Outback, okay, but not what I'd expect for the price. We were there to celebrate a birthday, and had a good time, but for the price I'm likely to look elsewhere in the future.

This place is as good as any steakhouse in reno. It is a hidden gem. It doesn't get that crowded but days and hrs are limited. The staff is very friendly and I do like the deco of the place. A good southwest feel. Good food and staff make this a place to go

Food was excellent. The blackened prime rib and prawns were perfect. The staff were excellent. Prices were very good. The only thing that was lacking was the garlic mash. The garlic tasted like powder or pre chopped stuff not fresh. The dessert was very good. Good drinks. Great steak house. Nice decor and ambiance.

My colleague and I ate here back in February while on a work trip. I specifically booked this place because we were looking for the best Prime Rib in Reno and Cactus Creek had the best reviews and recommendations for just that. This place did not disappoint!! From the great ambience and great server (Thanks Alexa!) we could not have been happier with our choice. We both had Prime Rib with Au Gratin potatoes and shared some Brussels sprouts. The crust on the Prime Rib was perfect, potatoes were delicious and Brussels sprouts were fantastic. We could barely walk out of there we were so full! Will definitely come back next time in town!

The food was amazing I had the crusted sea bass, but the best part of the dinner was our server Amber a true professional, she was a pleasure.

The ambiance is awful. The cigarette smoke from the casino permeates the entrance and part of the dining room
