A small but high quality cafe offering breakfast and lunch with substantial vegan options. My friend and I got a vegan breakfast burrito and vegan French toast, we were both very happy. I also got a vegan cortado which was tasty. I would recommend going earlier rather than than later if you intend to sit, as it seemed to get crowded around 9:30 on Saturday, and seating is limited there. Oh my goodness, I have to tell you about this incredible place I just visited! My boyfriend and I had the most amazing time there! The ambiance was so inviting and the food was out of this world! We tried the Vegan French Toast and the Vegan Quesadilla, and let me tell you, they were absolutely phenomenal! I'm still dreaming about the flavors! And if that wasn't enough, the Vegan Brekky Burrito was just as delicious! But the real highlight of our visit was Angelina's incredible customer service. She made us feel so welcomed and special, it was like we were old friends catching up. I cannot recommend this place enough, you have to check it out!Vegetarian options: This cafe offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan options and has kindly labeled a few items specifically for vegans.

I strolled in here for late lunch. Lovely place, somehow reminds me of my college days. Since it was a bit late for lunch on a weekday, it was fairly quiet. I really enjoyed sitting there with my avocado toast and looking out the window. Staff is nice, avocado toast is great, ambience is perfect. Sometimes you just need to unwind, and this is a good place for that.

Wouldn’t have expected such delicious food behind the simple (but clean) coffeeshop interior! Bruleed bananas on the French toast were the envy of the table. Espresso drinks and hot cocoa all on point.

I've had this spot on my Yelp Collection for coffee shops to try for a while now. I had no idea how close it was to the Cathedral, we ended up walking over after Sunday morning mass today and had a great experience! I only came for coffee but was impressed by their food menu selection and the prices. The barista was so nice, she told me that Cafe Capello has been around as a coffee shop for about 15 years. They roast all of their own coffee off-site. They even make their own pumpkin syrup for coffees! So of course I had to get the pumpkin pie latte, one of their seasonal specials. I thought it was delicious--not too sweet but still full of flavor. The barista had great things to say about their Mexican Mocha, I'll have to try that next time. Prices were affordable with good sizes. They have some tables inside plus several outside on their patio. A lot of street parking nearby. This spot is right by the downtown riverwalk, we had such a nice time strolling along the river to see the fall colors while sipping our drinks from here. I look forward to coming back for breakfast and to hang out on their patio!

Came in to grab a coffee to go, it was a delicious oat milk cappuccino! The barista is so sweet! Pretty extensive food menu too, definitely coming back for the breakfast burrito and croque monsour! Seating inside and out right along the river!
