My wife and I and one of her friends stopped into this place after bowling one day having no idea that it was a gay bar and I'll have to say it was quite Pleasant play the couple games of pool and have actually gone back. I'm not gay but also not a homophobe kind of like the place bartender was very friendly drinks are reasonable just an all-around good experience
Carl's Saloon is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is welcoming, the drinks are perfectly mixed, and the staff treats you like family. It's the best spot in town for a great night out!
Your friendly GAYborhood bar is right... Tuesday & Sunday night Karaoke with Jenny is always a blast! Our bartender Michael had our regular orders memorized within a few weeks. Their bloody mary's have these crazy good pickled green-beans, the house lager is well balanced & their prices are decent. Small town feel in the biggest little city, with themed nights & a great community of frequent fliers.
