Food was decent during dinner time. There wasn’t much of a variety but if you’re a seafood lover then you should be able to enjoy the seafood buffet selection, depending on your taste buds. The PROS include the 50% local’s discount, Jody the waitress, & the crepe station/Crepe lady. Jody was an amazing waitress and always made sure our table was taken care of. She was quick on refills and overall a friendly worker that everyone should follow as an example. I didn’t get the name of the lady who handles the crepe station, but she’s always working when I come. Not only does she single handedly make the crepes herself, but she assists with other stations when needed. When busy, the crepe station can have long lines but what else can be expected when it’s just her, so don’t complain. I give that lady props & I never mind waiting in line, especially when the crepes are my favorite part of the entire buffet.

Pretty tired selection for breakfast. Get the omelette if you want something made to order.

I was there yesterday morning while trying to get some eggs the lady on the station asked what I wanted so I told her and she said move to the side wile I make it and she was about to break the eggs to do my order when a gentle men said he wanted and omelet an the lady stop what she was doing and said go behind the line so I can make there's first when I was there first waiting for my order I find that super disrespectful and I considered that discrimination she ruined my breakfast I think the managers really need to keep an eye on the people they hire if I could talk to a manager that would be great!

(Asst?) Manager Donna was super helpful in solving a certificate issue we were having trouble redeeming for the buffet. She took care of it and even upgraded our seating area. Khaled was our server and he was prompt, friendly, jovial, and helpful. Great smile too! Customer service was definitely more than three stars, but I'm rating more on selection and quality of food. There was a pizza station, Asian station, noodle bar, Mexican station, dessert bar, and American station that included a primE rib and turkey carving station. I ate some Asian food, and while the egg rolls, pot stickers, and wonton were pretty good, the rice, chow menu, and pork and broccoli were just okay. The prime rib and mashed pots were decent, and I wasn't really interested in trying too muCh more of the savory because the sweets is what looked the tastiest! There are lots of desserts, mostly standard fare like cherry pie, lemon meringue pie, and soft serve ice cream. There were also some nice fruit tarts, creme brûlée, and cannolis as well. All pretty well done. The main showstopper was definitely the crepe station. Pick you fruit and other filler and you get a fresh made sweet filled crepe. We got the strawberry and Nutella. It's was pretty and pretty delicious!

Let me just start by saying I ma not a fan of buffets. We won this at a fund raising benefit so what the heck we gave it a whirl. The manager Donna was super helpful after the front cashier didn't know how to handle our certificate. After checkIng out the entire buffet we started with some AsIan food. All pretty tasty. Then we tried the prime rib. A bit too rare in the center but the rest was very good. Now for the best part! Desserts!!! And lots of them. I went for the fresh made crepe and got the strawberry and nutella and my wife got a sampler. The crepe was amazing! The creme brûlée was excellent too. and because that just wasn't enough I saw soft serve and a bananas foster topping. This did not disappoint either!

So, Harrah's is closing pretty soon and I figured I'd try out the buffet. On Fridays and Saturdays, the steak and seafood buffet is $33, but it's half off for locals! But that's pretty much the last good thing I can say about this buffet--it's cheap and has all you can eat crab. There was a large assortment of foods but from the Mexican food to the steaks to the desserts, pretty much everything was lackluster. The things worth getting were the crab and the crepes.

Staff was nice and food was edible. Not much more to be said. It was not great food and pricy for the quality.

We have dined here’s few times and have noticed that the food is getting worse. The Prime Rib has no flavor, the New York steaks were very tough with an odd flavor that was not good, the fish was horribly fishy and so were the Crawfish! The only thing really edible was the pizza and ice cream. Overall the food was horrible. Also the guys who were working behind the buffet were so rude! It seems like most of them were unhappy with their jobs too. None of them smiled or even spoke to customers. That was the last time we go there!!! Ever!!!! Oh and it cost us almost $70 for 2 people!!!!! I would never recommend their Seafood Buffet! Never!

We enjoyed our meal at Carvings Buffet, make sure you get a players card if you haven't got one. Also download the Ceasars App so you can receive offers from Harrah's Reno. I used a BOGO free!! It was $35.00 for 2 of us. Otherwise you will be paying $61.98 for 2. I hope this will help you save some funds!!

At this price, this buffet is better than I expected. They have order to make crepes, Chinese noodle soup and eggs/omelette. For servicing, the hotel may want to hire more chiefs to work there. Each food section has only one chief working, have to wait a while to get the foods.

Passed by for something quick to eat, the staff was friendly, the cashier had a great attitude, the foods okay, but it's still good tho, the price is great! And the dessert sections where it's at lol but overall, I'll still come to eat, it's a good buffet

Tried carvings buffet for Christmas Eve because of the two for one coupons which brought it down to about $11 a person. The food was suspect. The chicken was very dried out and greasy prime rib was good the Chinese was OK salad was great. Service was quick and the restaurant was pretty full. It is not my first choice of buffet in town but the price was right.

Ate here several times. For the money, the brunch was great, also the food offered was very satisfactory. We had the seafood dinner on the week-end, wasn't really worth what we paid. Do get a made to order crepe. Just delicious!
