JUST TOO EXPENSIVE!
Just happened on this place a few months ago - now we are there every week. Great food and service.
My meal was good, my wife's was bland. The service was great, very friendly. Maybe hit or miss? I'd give it another try but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so.
Love the food, excellent service
Friendly staff - chips are fresh, excellent menu, and dinner was good.

I had dinner there tonight with my mother. We each ordered the shredded beef tostada and a house margarita. We were served the usual free chips and salsa; the chips were heavy and stale. The salsa was fine, the other dip was refried beans. We did not finish the chips and dip and we did not request a refill. None of the alcoholic beverages had listed prices on our menus. The margarita was subpar, with a strange aftertaste. FYI the house margarita is $12.50. The tostada, which came with nothing else (like rice and beans) was mostly shredded iceberg lettuce, very little shredded beef, watery sour cream, and the guacamole was tasteless, I do not know what they used to cut the avocado and still keep it green. Even the tostada itself was quite small, and hard. For how scanty the portion was, the meal was not good enough to finish eating, and I left half of it, as did my mother. The margaritas were not good enough to finish, and we both left half of those drinks. The meal, including tax, but not the tip, was $58. I noticed that the table next to ours also did not finish their food, and also, they did not bother to take home the remainder. I am told that this used to be a reliably good and medium-priced Mexican restaurant. Don't bother going there. It is very expensive for the meal, the food is low quality and scant. On the positive side, the waiter was pleasant, the Mexican decorations were attractive and it was not noisy.

Awesome food. In our opinion, very expensive. For $16.00 got a burrito. Chips and salsa served before ordering. Nothing came with burritos.
Spendy.Rodrigo is excellent. Clean place. Great flavors. Two burritos, no alcohol $50.00. Prices on their website was half of actual price. Very misleading.

Skinny margarita's are strong. Treat us like family. Definitely a good place to hangout and eat. Food is delicious.
My wife, her sister and I did a late lunch at Casa Grande II. They both ordered the two taco combo. I ordered the Chile Relleno and a Pork Chimichanga. The Chile Relleno was not the normal green chili. It was something like small slices clumped together with a small quantity of cheese holding it together. A normal recipe calls for some egg. I saw none. The Chimichanga I got was Beef and that would have been fine if it was a good product. It was made of old dried up, burnt, finely chopped beef, full of gristle. The meat basically was uneatable. Whoever took the roast out and butchered it made no effort to cut out the gristle or cook the meat at a temperature that would allow it to be shredded. What was served to me, I would not have fed to a dog. Who ever was in charge of that kitchen took no pride in what he sent out to his customers.
I showed the plate to the waitress and asked for the manager who was not in. She brought me the bill which I half expected to show a credit for the Chimichanga. It did not. I paid it along with a good tip as the food was not the fault of the waitress.
The Casa Grande on Robb Drive has always been the better of the two. I have eaten at one or the other, with my family or business associates, fifty plus times over the last decade or more. So, it grieves me to write this negative review. In truth, I generally only write reviews on businesses that are exceptionally good or bad. And, this was bad.

I really want to love this place, it's close to my home and I have friends that love it. In my experience the food and service is just a little better than fair.
