A phenomenal experience! Food was amazing and the service was even better! We are in town for my best friends bachelor party and Erin was amazing! She was super friendly, had great recommendations and even have the staff write a personalized card for the groom. Excellent food with a creative menu. It’s billed as Spanish tapas, and it obviously is based on the idea, but this is not your traditional restaurant. Chef is brave with the different combinations. Everything we tried was great. I thought the tomato and burrata was served a little too cold for my preference. The ice for cocktails is perfect.
A little bit noisy inside, but not too bad. Nice outdoor seating with heat lamps too.

Fabulous. Every dish was delicious every cocktail our group ordered looked and tasted devine. The chef and staff were all wonderful. Good atmosphere. All in all just a wonderful evening. Loved the pear & brie flatbread.

I had a couple great visits here with excellent drinks made. The last few times tho.. sadly subpar drinks. And at the prices, this is seriously unacceptable.
I opted to give a 3-star review because I'm hoping this concern could be looked into and not regarded as someone just being hateful or nasty. When this bar is hitting, it's one of Reno's best. But lately, the quality of the drinks has me looking elsewhere.
My recommendation: occasional quality control tests - for instance, someone who can really taste differences should sit down and have each bar tender make at least 2-3 drinks on the menu (none of which should be the pre-mixed ones - how would this test anything) and make sure that the flavor profiles align with what is expected.
Please take this for what it is - someone who really enjoys this bar and wants to see it continue to do well.

Without a doubt the best food and drink in Reno. Chef Travis is both skilled and brave in his ideas and execution. The rest of the staff is the cream of the service industry in northern Nevada. I have been to Centro dozens of times and have never once found anything to complain about.

Had a wonderful small plate dinner here while in town for work. Excellent friendly service. The hamachi crudo and harissa roasted carrots were outstanding and exactly what I wanted. I tried 2 cocktails: the Golden Hour and the Fig Old Fashioned. The Golden Hour was by far my favorite. It was a great mix of flavors and very well balanced. Will come back here if I'm in the area for work again.

A delightful experience. First time here. I have walked across Spain twice so whenever I hear about Tapas I'm interested! The food was gorgeous, with intricate flavors, mouth watering, our server was an angel and very attentive. The craft cocktails are exquisite. I love the multitude of flavors. To be warned, I didn't come here for volume, I came here for flavor. If I want to over eat a massive portion of food I'll go to a buffet at a casino, but who am I kidding? I would never go to a buffet anymore. If you want quality, FLAVORS, high end cocktails, great service, please check this place out!
Also, when I left, I was satiated in the best way. Don't get me wrong, you can have your cake and eat it too here, as far as servings go, but I prefer to socialize with great company and enjoy the adventure of a truly colorful culinary experience.

GLUTEN-FREE FRIED CHICKEN!! I don't know any other places in Reno with GF fried chicken! I could just stop my review there ;)
I've never actually written a review for Centro because I was always underwhelmed by the food and the gluten-free options were minimal. This was despite going there occasionally because the space is so cozy and cute and the location convenient.
However, I learned that there is a new owner/Chef and the menu has evolved for the better! While keeping some of the things that were always there. There are so many gluten-free choices now because the fryer is 100% GF and they are using cornstarch and GF flour! There is some hidden soy in a few things but the Chef is super knowledgeable.
Everything we had was amazing and I can't wait to go back to try everything. I'm excited about all these things that are GF (there are others too): Fried Chicken, Fried Artichokes, Brussel sprouts, the Pan fried Corvina with rice cakes and bokchoy, grilled octopus, roasted harissa carrots, hamachi, lemon tart, and almond cake. Sounds like the menu changes frequently so these exact things might not be there and the menu isn't marked Gluten Free because of the frequent changes. But I'm guessing it will all be as good and its easy to ask!
