The service was fantastic and Our server Bryan was wonderful. We really enjoyed our meal and Bryan's recommendation for the wine was spot on. We had a wonderful evening and look forward to the next time
Our food was amazing. We looked at the menu before we went and had an idea of the prices. The service was exceptional. We will definitely be back.
Had another amazing dinner at Charlie Palmer Steak. We arrived early for dinner since we had a show and they were so accommodating. The food was delicious and our server Donovan was excellent. Continuously checked back with us to make sure our entrees were to our liking and our cocktails were always full! Thank you for an excellent dining experience and fabulous date night!
The restaurant has many versions of steak. I'm a filet person. The versions are choice, prime and wasyu with prices to match. Got the prime, my husband got the choice because her wanted a bigger steak. My steak was very dry. His was great even tho he ordered it medium well. Disappointing. Sides, salads and crème brûlée were great.
Service was above average, food was good but very salty!!! The noise level was loud and hard to have an intimate conversation.
Our waiter, Erewyn, was the most knowledgeable waiter I believe I've ever had. Ask for him.
Took 15 mins to get waited on once we set down. The steak was good but our friend had to send his back because the kitchen did the wrong cook on his steak.
Enjoyed happy hour in the bar area. Made a mistake of reserving a table and didn't realise no happy hour reservation in restaurant area. Apologised and they were able to move us to bar area table. Food was very good although fries were disappointing. Burger and seared Ahi very good. Good atmosphere and not smokey from casino. Great friendly staff.
Made reservations for 7pm for a party of 5 to celebrate a birthday for a friend who’s not from here, we were seated on time, although the table was set for 4 not 5, and pretty quickly greeted by our server who was great! This is where it goes bad, 2 of our party had cocktails, one had a regular iced tea and the rest had water, the cocktails came quickly as did the waters. However, the iced tea took over 10 minutes to get to the table-it’s iced tea not anything fancy. The glasses smelled like old dirty dishwater. While placing our order we mentioned some food allergies, one being specifically to fish and the other being shellfish (2 different members of the party), this is important as we go on. Crab cakes were ordered and since it came out and nothing was said about the possibility of fish contaminating it, it was eaten by the party with the fish allergy, as soon as it was consumed this person realized that there may be some sort of fish contamination and ended up having to take some Benadryl. Luckily an ER visit wasn’t needed!! Pretty bad when the allergies were mentioned prior the order being sent to the kitchen. The menu has crab cakes as an appetizer, this should read crab cake because there is only one, very misleading. 3 people in the party ordered the 8oz filet minion Oscar style. Big mistake!!! The crab on the steak smelled and tasted like it was from a can! We all ended up scraping it off! One of the steaks had to be sent back cause it wasn’t cooked medium rare but rare, the second steak came out again with the stinky gross crab all over it only this time with more crab juice! Gross! 1 person ordered the scallop appetizer and they were ok, but with the above possible contamination they were worried that their meal may have been contaminated with their allergen. The only safe meal seemed to be the chicken! They did try to make it right by comping a couple of things and giving us free desserts but after going through this for 2 hours we were done and wanted to go home so they were declined. A larger party was sat after us and their food came out around the time that ours did!! As a local this is the most disappointing meal I’ve eaten in a while and will not be going back or recommending them to people I know, in I will recommend that they do not eat here
Went for my birthday for a lovely night on my own, and the staff were from the entrance onward excellent. Food was beautiful, especially the foie gras. The restaurant was lovely and quiet with a great soundtrack playing softly. Fantastic experience all round!

It's been many, many years since we've been to Charlie Palmer's Reno. For 3 people our bill was $453.00, we tipped Sierra $150 for taking care of us. We knew off the top that the prices were not what we're acustomed to, but this was a special get-together of friends. We ordered 3-filet mignon's, 2 baked potatoes and 2 side dishes of the brussell sprouts. Here's where we liked to see them all arrive at our table at same time. Instead the the filet's arrived first, then 2-3 minutes later the baked potatoes arrives, then 2-3 minutes later the brussell sprouts arrived. Basically we started eating our filet mignon's first.
The food was excellent, as was the service!!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Julian and Alfredo were GREAT!! My only issue was with the way the steak was cooked. A Medium well steak should still have some pink, however, my steak was more than well done unfortunate. This is unacceptable for a steakhouse.
We were celebrating my son's birthday. The food was excellent! The steak melted in my mouth like butter. But if I could give higher than a 5 for service I would. Service was incredible!
We had a large table of 11. The staff were friendly, efficient & professional. The food was outstanding: steaks, lamb chops, wedge salads, ahi tuna starters, many side dishes-all of which were delicious and perfectly prepared. While the noise level was a bit elevated, it was likely due to a number of tables of large parties from the convention taking place in the hotel. I would imagine that would not have been the case on a regular night.
