So good we almost forgot to tour the museum. Initially I balked at the prices, but given the quality of the food they were well worth it. The chicken pot pie was amazing.

Perfect place to spend a cold day- explore the museum and enjoy a beautifully prepared soup or specialty coffee

Man, this place has gone down hill. High mid-town prices with all the quality of a low end casino restaurant. Run-of-the-mill frozen fries, thin frozen burger paddies, crap beer selection. You can do WAY better in a stone's throw. Try Granite St, Silver Peak, or Centro. No need to waste your time or money on food that the owners care as little about as they do about you.

My lunch could not have been more pleasant. The croque monsieur was perfect, probably better quality than a Paris cafe. Nice view out the window. And a pleasant interior in this fine art museum. Staff were very sweet. I will be back.

I split the croque monsieur with my partner and it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The bread was perfectly toasted, ham was delicious and plentiful, and the cheesey bechamel was amazing! Just an overall decadent sandwich. The chef was great and put the sandwich halves on different plates, each with their own side salad. I'm definitely going to be getting the croque monsieur again, even if I'm not visiting the museum. The staff were super friendly and the eating area is full of light.

Our 7MUSES celebrated a 92 birthday at Chez Louie last Sunday. We've enjoyed many delicious lunches at the museum in years past but sunday's lunch was a disaster...a very limited selection..no soup...most of our artists had quiche..broken crusts and a wilted salad... Although the service was excellent and the employees kind and understanding, the food was a huge disappointment. hope it gets better.!!!

My wife and I decided to re-engage the world after the pandemic/lockdown era with a day date to the Nevada Museum of Art. We tried the restaurant on the first floor out of convenience. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and welcoming. He even took the time to explain chef terms to me. We tried the mushroom asparagus soup, my wife had the chicken sandwich and I got the croque monsieur. We chose a shady place in the outside dining area. It faces a quiet and quaint street with views of flowers and a sculpture. The soup was a nice surprise, rich and flavorful with just a little acidity. The chicken sandwich was one of the best lunch meals my wife has ever had.

We thought we'd try the restaurant given we were going to the Museum of Art and it was a convenient location. The service was pleasant but it took a long time to get the food. And the food was abysmal. The soup of the day was bland and tasted canned. The kale salad was barely edible. The red wine special was expensive and tasted like colored water. The chicken sandwich was edible, but barely. The chicken was overdone and had a goopy tasteless sauce. How this restaurant gets good ratings is beyond me. We will not be going back.

We had lunch here yesterday for the first time. We were both very impressed, so nice and quite. A lady started to play the piano , so beautiful. The food was all organic and delicious. Can’t wait to return.
From one local business to the next, I'll never stop recommending this spot. The food and service were amazing. Thanks so much to Seth.

This place has a great shrimp salad. The ice tea was good, but the service was very slow. It has a nice atmosphere.

So so. My friends' plates looked good. Nice real French fries, not the pre-coated kind.

My friends' plates looked good. "Real" French fries, not the pre-coated kind. Excellent service, attentive to friends' special needs. My side Ceasar salad was delicious. My burger... not so much. Described as "bently ranch grass-fed beef patty, caramelized onions, mushrooms, gruyère, brioche bun, choice of side". Not! Patty was a bit dry and crumbly ('medium'), on very nice butter lettuce as requested, but no sauce of any kind. Thick slice of raw onion, not caramelized. Thick slice of what must have been a wooden green tomato. No mushrooms. The cheese was the worst! sliced American "cheese"-like thing. No gruyere! They brought 2 pieces of packaged pre-sliced swiss cheese. However, I will come back to try other items on the menu. No trouble parking by Museum.
