The service was great, but unfortunately the food was incredibly lack luster even without considering the price. I tried the chicken parm sandwich and it was very bland. The two friends I was with had the fish and chips and they were both very disappointed with their meals. I can't recommend this place when it's ~$25-$30 a person for mediocre food at best.

Great place to watch the game. The appetizers are really great. My husband and I enjoyed our drinks. It is very LOUD
basically typical sports bar food. i had a cobb salad which approached decnt except a notable lack of salad dressing, The spouse had the fried shrimp which should have been billed as cremated shrimp. THe wine pour was generous and the only positive thing about our meal. We will not be returning.
I saw some reviews so my expectations were not high, but it was inside the hotel im staying in, we order the vegan crab fries with with cheese and toppings as a starter, veggie vegan pizza and Mediterranean salad! All vegan! Really delicious food and good variety of options! I would give it 5 stars but because I’m not fully vegan, I can only give 4 Updated from previous review on 2025-10-13
We were seated in a booth right next to the bar where people were smoking. Three of the four people at the table were served quickly, the forth did not get food until the others were almost finished eating. The server said that was because her meal took longer to prepare. Having been a server in the past it is your job to make sure if one meal takes lingering to prepare you make sure the kitchen gets everything out together. Overall we have had better experiences at C and Ps.
I was told by a waiter . That I could not afford to eat here… I work here at Gsr. I guess I won’t be trying it out thanks to that waiter. Guess they don’t need my business. The one with the 80s mustache.

The food came out in nice portion sizes. But the 5 stars definitely got to the staff. The waiter we had was so helpful not only about the food but other places in the area. The manager also came out to give us a few tips and pointers about things to see and places to go. It was a great way to start our trip. Philly cheese anything from here was fantastic! If you get the sandwich ask them to throw on some of the sweet peppers they have on the nachos. Delicious! Thanks again!

I have been here several times as the GSR is where I like to do staycations. On 8/18/25 I went for dinner and it was the best service I’ve ever had there!!! Mary was the server and she was absolutely amazing!!!!! She was kind, attentive and always had a smile. My service otherwise here has not been very good. There’s been long waits, forgotten food and one time, my sever was too busy gossiping that I sat for almost 30 minutes waiting for my check. I finally had to go to her and get it.
Always, this time, Mary was just absolutely amazing and if they had more servers like her, I’m sure the ratings would go way up!! Great job Mary!!! I’ll make sure to request you the next time I’m there!!!

Used to be really good. Has gotten worse with every visit. Food just isn't good enough especially for what they charge.

We ordered the most expensive crab cake of my life for $45. At first, it was raw inside — and that’s a risk when it comes to eating undercooked seafood. We asked them to fix it, and in the end, we got burnt crab cakes. Just to clarify — for $45. The wait for the entire order was 45 minutes.
Pizza was good, thin crust good sauce. Wanted the GSR $4 draft beer but they we're out and offered no substitute. Server was Okay, I think he was covering a large section of the restaurant and seemed scattered.
Nothing special. Food is very average . I can say my food was filling but that's it . Food did come out quick as it wasn't very busy . Service was ok

Sports bar in the Grand Sierra. Expect sports bar food: tacos, wings, fries, cheeses teams, etc. We had seafood pasta and shrimp tacos. Both were good. If you enjoy sports, they had games up around the place.

Horrible service from manager and employees. The manager spent time cleaning tables with no new customers coming in after our conference group rush, leaving her staff to close out tabs at a snails pace making us late. Could easily be avoided with teamwork
