Chihuahua's Cantina & Grill

I tried for first time, nice decoration but unfortunately I found so many flies, I couldn’t enjoy my food at all it’s so disappointing that I have to deal with flies in a restaurant. I can’t even rate the food since I didn’t feel like I was having the best time. Very disappointed.

I went 2 days ago and the Service was terrible , we’re waiting for more than 25 min to get the food , there was waiters and waitresses that were drinking at the bar sitting at the table next to us , they got their food before than us and we were first , there was like 6 people and Alexis was the only one that was polite and hard working , there’s a guy name Jose he had on a charcoal grey shirt and black pants and had a slim fit build, he brought us water after we asked out waiter and didn’t say anything and brushed us off when we said thank you

I was so excited to come there every week but now I don’t want to go there anymore until they fix those things

This spot is a whole vibe! Chihuahua’s Grill is colorful, fun, and full of flavor from start to finish. The patio is perfect for brunch, dinner, or catching up with friends over a margarita tree.

Let’s talk food. Those pineapple jalapeño wings? Fire. Sweet, spicy, crispy and I was hooked after the first bite. The Cazzerola
Roja lives up to the hype too. It’s rich, flavorful, and so satisfying.

Dessert is a must. That churro with cajeta and ice cream came out looking like a whole photo shoot! It’s giving 10 out of 10.

Get there soon and tell them I sent you. You just might catch me out there with a taco in one hand and a drink in the other!

I ordered dinner to go. Three cheese enchiladas dinner was tasty and good portion sizes. Very friendly staff abd nice atmosphere. Only down side they didn't offer chips to go.

I'd characterize this as an upper end Cantina. There is a patio in the back that is shaded. Service is prompt and friendly. I paid about $10 for a 22oz draught beer and there is a good selection. The grande burrito was about $18 and meets the description. Wifi is available.

Best Chicken Mole in Reno!! Service and Staff are wonderful. The margaritas are always on point. This is a must try if you’re looking for awesome Mexican food and atmosphere.

Overall a great experience. Had a few times where the server(s) were not attentive, but I think staffing changed in early 2025, and have had great experiences with all friendly staff since.

We have been there several times and the food is pretty good however their service is absolutely terrible. Today 06/16 at 5:05pm we got seated and we waited for over 10 minutes and not 1 person came to our table. So we got up and left. I think we were one of 4 tables in the whole restaurant. Absolutely terrible service!
