Good lunch yesterday! Food was good. Service was attentive, pleasant, and friendly. Compliments to the management on their hiring. Our waitress and another I observed nearby were both incredibly friendly and positive people.

Really like to eat at Claimjumper resturants when we are out of town, we don't have one in our town. Waitress was great, Both my husband and my meal had no taste, my salad was bitter they had added cabbage to a green salad. Husband's vegetable was burnt. Will go to Claimjumpers again just not in Reno, Nevada

Excellent food and service. Our server's name was "Sierra" I think? I don't exactly remember but she was working the afternoon of Sunday August 7th. I had the fried chicken and husband had the ribeye. We got pineapple/coconut frozen drinks, and dessert to go..a slice of the huge chocolate cake and carrot cake. Food was scrumptious and flavorful. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Claim jumper has always been a favorite. I do wish they would bring back the cheese bread loafs.

Terrible food and service! Server slow as hell. Baked potatoes and beans served cold. Told the server and she said it could be upwards of an hour to get new potatoes. Steak was fair and what steakhouse doesn't serve bread with a steak dinner? Not to mention this is arguably the most expensive steakhouse in Reno! Complained to the manager who a number of lame excuses but finally did not charge us. Claim Jumper has gone downhill lately. Meanwhile, Outback and Texas Roadhouse always knock it out of the park for half the price. Will not be returning anytime soon!

Friday night walked in and sat at bar. Only two other people at bar. Very understaffed to begin with but I get that. Nobody wants to work. One bartender for whole bar and tables. Ordered meal and drink. First why isnt a salad on sides?? Ordered side salad asked for it first. No salad, no drink. Server came and told us after about 20 minutes no Ribeyes???? Ok husband ordered chicken fried steak. Food came just a few minutes later. No salad, no drink?? Chicken Fried Steak tasted like freezer fresh, potatoes were cold. Mine was steak and shrimp. Only thing half way good was steak. Baked potato cold, veggies cold. Ate half my steak left rest. Drink was good when I got it. Never got salad. Was charged for wrong beer. Never saw management. Took forever to pay. I asked myself why I even paid for it? Worst meal out in long time. Not the Claim Jumper I remember.

Pretty disappointing, food was drenched in pepper to cut the cost of actual seasoning nothing I ordered besides my drink didn't have pepper! For people who soaly rely on pepper to season there food they WAY overpriced. The only item I was able to finish or enjoy was my drink. I personally have a sensitive pallet so I loathed the entire experience, the rest of my party agreed that the pepper was overused (I'm not joking the food soaly tasted like pepper) no one was impressed by there food and agreed it was mediocre and not worth what we paid. Overall if you like over commercialized places that disappoint like Olive Garden this will be fine

Great choice when you have a large party and want everyone to sit together. We visited this week and I asked about an ingredient (that I am intolerant to). The waitress got the manager, who went out of his way to find the answer. I really appreciated them being certain of the answer. And I was even more pleased that the chicken pot pie is safe for me to eat.

Used to be you paid a high price but got a whopping plate of food. Now you get a normal plate of food (still tastes really good and is made very well) for the same high price. -the ghoul

I will start by saying, my 12 year old son thinks this place has the best burger in town! This was his chosen place for his birthday. However, they charged us for his cake! We told them it was his birthday, they did not ask us what we wanted for dessert or anything - brings him cake - then charges! Like whaaaaat? Weird, lol. I dont normally go out for my birthday, but aren't birthday desserts complimentary? Service was good throughout as far as hostess & waitress. Getting drinks was very slow & kitchen was kinda slow as well. I got the salmon Oscar which was supposedly a customer fave. It was okay. Kinda bland. But the Brussel sprouts were yum!!! My husband got the lobster BLT. He was extremely disappointed. He was expecting it to look like the menu pic with big chunks of lobster. He said it was mainly mayo with some bacon & lobster pieces. He said it was the worst sandwich he's ever had, & I have never heard him say that. My son loved his plain cheeseburger- haha! Perhaps he's just easier than us! Note: They do have military discount, but not on alcohol.

We've been to this location multiple times and always good food and good service. This time was unfortunately different.. our waitress didn't introduce herself and made us feel rushed to decide on drinks. We ordered our food.. and when it came the mashed potatoes were cold.. Our waitress was nowhere to be found so I brought it up to someone else who offered to bring me different mashed potatoes.. those potatoes also came cold. The artichoke hearts were severely over cooked. Our waitress never came to ask how our food was or check on us.. she did however quickly drop off refills for my husband.. (never offered me another drink or something different). We didn't see our waitress again until it was time to pay the check. We will most likely give them another try as this wasn't what we normally experience, but it was disappointing as we rarely have the time or money for a date night and this wasn't the experience we enjoy.

Went to celebrate my grandson 18 birthday. There were 12 of us all together. Our server,Shaw was efficient, friendly and super attentive to us! She was an outstanding server. I'll go back again and ask to be seated in her area. Claim jumper has a gem in her! And yes,the food was delicious.

Came here to eat last weekend afternoon and we were seated quickly as it was not that busy. Our server was awesome, she made sure we always had everything that we needed and we were happy with our order. The restaurant was quiet and clean inside. While the experience was amazing, the food lacked flavor all over. The Brussels were burnt, my steak had zero flavor and the Mac n cheese just wasn't that great. The appetizer itself was good and we all enjoyed a little bit of that. It is what it is, maybe a bad day in the kitchen? I would still recommend Claim Jumper on the service we had alone.

Was in town visiting my sister and decided to come here with my family. One of the worst decisions. I haven't had a bad experience for awhile until now. First off, we made reservations and even though we made reservations for 6 people we had to wait about 1 hour to be seated. Once we got seated we waited about 1 1/2 for all of our food to come out. Unacceptable. In addition, the food was average. What's funny is that my kids had the chicken fingers and they told me that they were the worse chicken fingers they have ever tasted. So there you have it. The only reason I'm ok with a 1 star (even though you can't give a business 0 stars) was the waitress. She was very apologetic about the wait time and we understood with it being Father's Day. She looked as if she been running around all day and I gave her kudos and a pass. I would not recommend this restaurant because even though it was Father's Day, it should not have taken 2 1/2 hours to receive our food. This is not some 5 star Michelin restaurant. We would had been better off just having some Del Taco like we joked about.
