Our party of 5 enjoyed every bite! First class service, very friendly and lovely atmosphere. The rotisserie chicken was awesome. Cooked perfectly. We loved the fried halloumi and savory doughnuts to start. Don't miss the pistachio baklava soft serve for dessert -- amazing!

Satisfying experience. Most of what we tried was above average. Nothing spectacular, but satisfying. We started with the clams and the fried sheep’s cheese with honey. Both great. I got the Steak which was pretty average but the verde butter was a nice touch. The salad was great. The potatoes imo, were a little too crispy and not potatoey enough, but still glad we tried it. The rotisserie chicken was pretty average. Some parts were dry but some parts were juicy. Drinks were great. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was awesome. Super unique and charming. One of the coolest bathrooms I’ve ever seen. We’d come back and try different things on the menu.

I have ran out of amazing things to say about this place. Absolutely everything is so delightful and charming. I have tried many things in their menu and have yet to be unsatisfied. My favorite dish is the Turkish Eggs for my brunch visits and the Tomatoes Feta salad for lunch, the falafels are to die for and you will never have potatoes like this in your life, my god!! All of the staff deliver excellent service every single time. The atmosphere is exquisite, it’s so perfect for your little Brunch Dates!! This is a MUST when visiting in Reno! They are extremely active on social media so be sure to check out their daily posts and stories for up to date amazingness. Cheers!

First time trying this restaurant and what a surprise. The ambiance is very nice they even have records spinning behind the bar. Food was great tried the fried cheese and warm salad for starters and both were unique not expecting to like the warm salad as much as I did. My wife had the roasted chicken which was delicious. I had the roasted lamb which melted in my mouth. Waiter was fantastic and very attentive. We will be back for sure

Our first visit here for dinner. Was pleasantly surprised at the vibe of this modern style Greek restaurant. Cute dried flowers in small vases on every table with lit candles and fun modern decor through out. Boutique style restaurant with great atmosphere. Fun turn table with cool records playing in the background music. Lots of detail and high airy ceilings. Located in the cutest center. Cant wait to come back in warmer weather and sit on the patio. Food everything we had was fun, with a modern Greek twist and it was delicious. Wr tried the fried Halloumi, Horta (warm salad), lamb dinner dosh and 1/4 Marys chicken dish. Was happy so many gluten free options. Healthy and delicious. We also bought a bottle of the Greek red wine big & bold Cabernet Sauvignon. We were to full for dessert but their options were fun and unique. Cant wait to bring friends and family to check it out. Close to where we love in West Reno and this type of fun and unique restaurant is needed and appreciated. Also our server was friendly and excellent! Forgot to ask his name again but he was great!

Friends and I recently had the chance to visit Claio for lunch for the first time. Being newish in the area, I really didn't know what to expect. WOW! What a pleasant atmosphere greeted along with a very professional welcoming member of their staff. The space is light and airy with the quality of a neighborhood gathering place. The array of menu options made it difficult to choose. I decided to go with the 1/4 rotisserrie chicken platter which was delicious. My only regret was I did not order the crispy schmaltz specialty potatoes on the side. Next time for sure... My friends each had the Souvlaki with lamb. They loved it and ate it all! The delicious food along with a light Greek Pinot Noir made our visit wonderful. Definitely an establishment worth coming back time and again!

This place is cozy in a more hip sort of way. Younger crowd too. We were here about a week ago for brunch. I ordered Turkish Eggs. It was absolutely expertly prepared with terrific flavor. That is why 5 star. However, this dish was not my "cup of tea" because I have moved away from sour cream and other dairy products. She ordered the Avocado toast and it was delicious. The service was very friendly and I would love to come back again and try dinner here

Definitely paying for the “ vibe “ - NOT the food. The rotisserie chicken was beautiful but BLAND. The avgolemono soup was way off target- could not taste lemon or tempered egg. The best thing we are was the $15 carrot. Trendy but not tasty.

Valentines Day. Not V day or even worse VD.... It's just Valentines Day. My Valentine made us some surprise reservations for Claio and I was relieved. We had been sick for the last few weeks and I hadn't gotten around to making any plans. So thankfully she had set us up more than a month before. We were sat immediately and ordered up a few cocktails. I guess they are working with Death and Taxes in some fashion and it showed. The drinks were unique and flavorful. My wife ordered up a Strawberry Paloma. Normally she wouldn't do Tequila but this drink was fantastic. Definitely the star of the night for me. But I am a sucker for almost anything grapefruit. I opted for the Aeginan Old Fashion and it was very flavorful. Normally I am not a fan of a boring Old Fashion but this one was not boring at all. We started with some falafel for our starter. It's always interesting trying different falafel, especially at the higher end establishments. Then we got the Duck Tahdig dish that is designed to share. It was delicious. It's great when you have a special meal and the food turns out to be something you don't get to have all that often in Reno. The confit and breast were cooked just right. I picked the bone clean and ate up everything my wife left behind. The carrots were the star of the dish though. I could go back and make those a meal in and of themselves. Thankfully we didn't over order because that is a bad habit we both have when we go to a place for the first time. This time we resisted and were able to save some room for dessert! I could not believe just how good that cheesecake was with the pistachio and passionfruit. And even more awesome, the bill came with some delightful macrons! The meal was delightful and I am really glad we were able to celebrate it at Claios. The only frustrating problem was with the "tipping" part at the end of the meal. They had an explanation that tipping wasn't expected but appreciated. I think this can come across a little confusing to the customer. Are we to tip or no? I do understand and like the fact that they have included in the price the ability to pay their staff a livable wage. But when you still include that "appreciated" part at the end of the long note about your tipping policy it still seems to put too much unspoken "obligation" on the customer. I honestly wish that every business would go to a no-tipping policy and get everything worked out. I know, nobody asked for my advice, but I think a better wording would be. Tipping is not expected however...if your experience was truly exceptional we will not refuse any gratuity that you wish to include. We as Americans are trained to tip. So it felt weird to not tip at all, however it also felt weird to only add a smaller percentage than 20%. So when I go back. I will revisit the tipping policy on the menu and make sure everything is still the same and tip if the service was just that stellar. Because I will definitely go back. The whole restaurant was beautiful that night, and the bar looks just so inviting.

Outstanding food and service in this cozy, but modern/fun setting! The cocktails were excellent and the Mediterranean based menu has many superb options. We even celebrated a birthday and the restaurant was kind enough to leave our special guest a birthday card! Thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and will definitely be back soon

We made a reservation for 8pm on Valentine's Day, we arrived about 10 minutes early and enjoyed a drink at the bar. For dinner we ordered the Horta which unexpectedly Comes warm. We were hoping for a crispy salad type of dish. But in addition it was Too sweet, it needed more balance, maybe a more salty or fresh acidic flavor. Schmaltz potatoes were really crispy but some were a little too potatoey and the salt topping ended up all on top instead of being tossed throughout. Really generous portion size though. Rotisserie Lamb dish was perfect. Great balance of flavors, decent size portion. Lamb was cooked perfectly and the zucchini won me over as a someone who isn't a huge zucchini fan I think the carrots are a little expensive for what they are. The portion size is a little small but they have great flavor and I loved the spice. The old fashioned was so perfect, sweet and nutty and the perfect balance of alcohol (for me personally) Really upscale vibe and great service. But the desserts, they really stole the show. The baklava soft serve was light and creamy with a balance of tangy sweet and nutty flavors with light little crispies on top. And the chocolate cake was rich and decadent and everything you want from a chocolate dessert. And both portion sizes were huge. Although there were some menu items they could work on, the things that were good, were excellent. Come for the ambiance, but stay for dessert.
