The food here was indeed quite good and fresh. I particularly enjoyed the pancakes and the cheesy hashbrowns. Furthermore, the service was excellent, and our server was very friendly.
We live in Fernley and every time we take our son to the pediatrician we stop at Cracker Barrel! We've had the same server every time and sat in the same section and it's been a great experience. We love this Cracker Barrel. So far everyone has been a joy to interact with, the food is always awesome, and we can't wait to go back!

The food was decent. We had a party of 7. All of us had something different. None of us were overly excited with our meals. It was edible, but bland. We felt we could have done better cooking at home. This is never a good thing for a restaurant. Our waiter forgot 2 of our drinks in the beginning of service, then forgot 3 sides when bringing out the food. By that time 4 of us had finished our drinks. Only 2 got replaced. It was after the meal was done before the other 2 got refilled. This was a not great experience. I would return to try for a different server, but the meal was lack luster enough (bland) that I probably won't bother.
