Quick service and delicious coffee. They have quite a selection of coffee drinks and milk alternatives are available. They have a cold case with quick bites like sandwiches, fruit, hard boiled eggs, snack packs, and mini cheesecakes. I had the iced turmeric latte with a shot of espresso, and picked up some bite sized recipe box cheesecakes. The drink was perfect and not sweet. The cheesecakes they carry from the local Recipe Box bakers were delicious. If you are in the area and in need of coffee or a quick bite, definitely check out Darkshot Coffee.

Absolutely loved this place! Came here with my husband earlier this morning, he got a boring americano and the sweet girl working behind the counter (her name was Sophie if i remember correct) told me she would make me a pumpkin spice chai! It was delicious, the almost gingery taste of the chai mixed with sweet pumpkin was great. I would like to thank Sophie the worker as well, my husband is deaf and most people get impatient and or are nervous to talk to him. However she just started a lovely conversation with both of us so again, thank you! I recommend coming to this place if you want great service and great coffee!

Great coffee (finally a hotel that does not serve starbucks) and uses local roasters. Staff is super nice. Fair prices. We went here everyday of our stay. I recommend this coffee shop.

Got americano with oat milk (delicious), green tea, sausage bowl and eggs. Everything was good. The girls working there were super friendly and helpful. Great spot to stop by for coffee and a quick bite if you stay at Renaissance or nearby.

I stay at many hotels and the coffee is generally awful. Whenever I get the chance to stay here I am so happy that I get to wake up to some good coffee right down stairs. The people are generally very friendly and it's in a beautiful hotel.

I wanted to try this place because it is on the river with an awesome view! Its inside the Renaissance hotel in downtown Reno. Nice seating area In The hotel Lobby and dog friendly. The girl behind the counter acted like we were ruining her day or she just hated life. Coffee was nothing special or the girl, again didn't care, not sure either way it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I was walking around downtown Reno when I realized that one of the highest rated coffee shops was back at my hotel. Instead of getting a coffee during my walk I waited until I returned to Darkshot located in the Renaissance Hotel. Best coffee I’ve had in a long time! Two friendly baristas were working and I asked for a recommendation…I’m burned-out on standard lattes and wanted to try something new. They recommended a Snickerdoodle latte (I think that’s what they called it) so I ordered it with oat milk. Amazingly rich coffee with the perfect amount of oat milk and sweetness. Well done!

Looking for a better coffee, less expensive than Star-yucks? Stop in to Darkshot grab an excellent coffee or latte. Super friendly and inviting. Coffee was fantastic. We'll definitely be making this a routine stop in the mornings.

Coffee is ok, the chai and the coffee had a bitter flavor. They sell old candy- check expirations. The location is convenient at the bottom of the office building. Across from the Marriott and the baseball field.Edit- added above, nice response time! Thanks!

At this upscale hotel, one can get a good specialty coffee drink. And they have a comfortable place to sit and sip and use the hotel wifi.

Let me preface this by saying I despise Sbux and am a die hard Dutch Bros girl. I also realize coffee is very personal to people. I only drink milky syrupy iced drinks. I work in the same building and today needed some caffeine. I went and got the same drink I always get at Dutch fully expecting to be at least somewhat disappointed. OMG dare I say it was even BETTER?? Yes. Yes it was!!! It's not convenient unless you're staying at the Marriott or at that building for some reason but if you are, try it! You won't be disappointed!

The two stars is because the latte was really good, but it was definitely served with a side of attitude! Owning a restaurant myself, I am always super nice to staff because I know they work hard and dealing with the public isn't easy, but the blonde girl working yesterday (glasses) was so rude! I started to order she immediately cut me off and said "ok slow down, your going to need to give me a minute to put the order in!" I then said my order again slowly. I ordered a Chai tea latte and a vanilla latte both 16oz and both hot. She went over and made them and handed me the first one and said "here's the latte". When I asked which one it was, she got super snarky and said "The Latte!" I then reminded her that I had two lattes. She looked and me and said "yeah but I don't call the chai a latte, I just call it the chai tea!" I guess I was the j*** for not knowing her verbiage was different when referring to two lattes!!??? Anyhoo- she has no business working that job dealing directly with customers. Her attitude warrants her a warehouse job where she doesn't interact with the public!

i came here to kill some time, and i've been exploring near coffee shops the past few days. this one has hit the spot and the best one by far. the menu is huge, so many options and the prices are just about what you would find anywhere else. i just ordered a mango smoothie instead of coffee today, but it is crazy delicious. the staff are super nice and will make your day. highly recommend:)
