Tried this place for the first time. My wife had the dream taco plate that said it was 14.00 with choice of meat, so we were surprised to see an additional charge of 3.50 for carne asada added to the bill, making the plate 17.50 for 2 tacos, rice and beans. The carne asada was more like boiled meat without any flavor and the beans were way to salty, the rice was good. I had the enchilada plate which was 12.49 for 3 cheese enchiladas which barely had any cheese in them or any flavor to the enchilada sauce, again the beans were way to salty. The service wasn't bad but the waiter could have been mor informative of the additionalcharge for our choiceof meat. We don't mind paying extra for the meat we want, but it should be on the menu that there is an additional charge for carne asada or we should have been told that it really wasn't your choice of meat and what meat was included for the 14.00. For the price we'll stick to many of the various mexican restaurants we have in this city that have better flavors and comparable or lower prices and the meals even come with chips and salsa compared to here. We really wanted to like this place.

I have been to Dream taco twice. Love the vegetarian burrito, made with fresh ingredients including corn. Large burrito for Me so I share with a friend. Service is very good, friendly, cheerful. Inside and outside seating. Clean.

We decided to try out a different taco place and landed on Dream Tacos & Cantina! We came a little before closing, but the food was fresh and they insisted on serving us. The service was amazing and helpful. We got the carne asada street taco plate and it was delicious. Well seasoned, a healthy portion of carne asada that was juicy and filling. The atmosphere was clean and lively which was a cheerful touch. Very excited to try more food from this establishment.

Visited on a Saturday night and the live mariachi band immediately immersed our group into the mood for Mexican food. The decor and casual ambiance sets high expectations for the food. Menu has a good variety of Mexican cuisine at reasonable prices. Steak and chicken street tacos gave me a good taste of the quality of fresh-made dishes DT was serving. The steak and chicken were juicy, hot and fresh. And the tacos were loaded. Our group also raved about the quesadilla and shrimp tacos. The fresh made tortillas is always a game changer, but DT also takes pride in the ingredients.

The food Jonathan (the owner) catered for our office party was beyond delicious, at a ridiculously great price. He provided everything necessary--flatware, napkins, plates and even large serving spoons to make it effortless to have a great party. The tacos, rice, beans, and vegetables arrived painstakingly packaged, all that should have been hot/warm or cold came as intended. Jonathan is also an incredibly nice man, the ladies at the office thought him quite handsome as well. I ordered based on the Yelp reviews without first-hand experience (which was a leap of faith that was more than a bit stressful), but those who attended the party have definite plans to visit his restaurant. The server was so sweet and gave us complimentary mini sopes. The ambiance was very pleasant. I really liked the environment, the decorations, and the design of the menu. Definitely give this place a try, it was so welcoming and the food is worth it!

The meat gets a little lost at the bottom, sot just make sure you hunt for it if you don't finish all the broth. My parents loved their meals as well, my mom called it some of the best rice in Reno.
