Happened upon this place and loved it. Great food, great service, beautiful restaurant. Large craft beer selection. Enjoyed the veal schnitzel, regular schnitzel, Reuben, and HUGE pretzel. The mustard with the pretzel and the Dijon aioli were great for dipping. Highly recommend.

Edelweiss pizza- outstanding. Was pleasantly surprised given it's not a dedicated pizza joint.
Jagerschnitzel-great but portions were small.
The pilsner and hefeweisen were phenomenal, but they were out of the kolsch.
4 stars because the prices are high, imo.

Great honest food. I had the Jägerschnitzel and my wife had the goulash with spazel they were both very good. I only gave it four stars because the service was so poor. We were there quite early for a later lunch/early dinner. There was only two other small groups, six people in total and two people waiting tables. One was the bar tender the other a waitress. We had to get our own menus, water, salt and pepper, etc. We had to get up and ask for the check, and then take it up to pay after waiting quite awhile for someone to come by.

The food is pretty good here! The garlic knots were to die for, very garlicky! I ordered bratwurst and found it to be pretty good. I don't normally love saurkraut but theirs was really good. It tasted fresh. My pretzel bun was falling apart and somewhat difficult to eat. All of the saurkraut and sauces made it a little soggy so it wasnt the easiest to eat. My boyfriend ordered the goulash and spatzle and it was such a good comfort meal. It was flavorful but not too heavy. We had amazing service. Our waitress was super kind and offered great recommendations. She checked back with us frequently and was overall a very cheerful person. The atmosphere was cute. I really like that they went all out on a theme. It was thought out and and not just thrown together. Feels like you're in an Austrian lodge enjoying a nice warm meal.

On a whim, dropped by with the wife for lunch. It's beautiful on the inside and the staff was warm and inviting. The food was delicious (Hungarian goulash and schnitzel sandwich)! We also had cocktails, the Peachy Keen (yummy) and the "Oat" Fashioned (absolutely amazing). Plenty of German brews on draft - we'll be back for more!

I'm excited to have a good Austrian spot open up in South Reno and it does not disappoint. The decor is well done and I can't wait for the patio to be a viable option in better weather.
They have a handful of legit beers on tap that aren't the usual selection in town. I gave the schnitzel sandwich a go and it was super good with a satisfying side of fries. For dessert I tried the bienenstich (toffee, pastry pizza?) but I found it a bit overwhelming in the toffee section.
Our server was quick and responsive - I doubt my water ever made it to half empty.

Monica, Paul and their team do an amazing job. Everything from the service, to the ambiance to the delicious food was 100% on point! The Austrian Goulash is Monica's Father's recipe...and it is incredibly tasty. The trivia nights are also a whole lot of fun!!
