Fabulous fast food Chinese food in downtown Reno. The owners are very nice and accommodating. The food is spectacular and quick. Not too greasy and the egg rolls are hot and fresh. I bought chicken, shrimp, and pork egg rolls and both chicken fried rice and chicken chow mein. I also tried the fried chicken wings. The food is not salty and best of all is hot fresh and prepared practically in front of you quickly.

I had general chicken with chicken chowmein, the taste was so bad. The chicken is rotten inside and it tastes like spoiled chicken. I’m not sure whether they added chicken or pork in chowmein it did not look like chicken. I had bad experience and i don’t suggest this restaurant!

Absolute health hazard — avoid at all costs I ordered the chicken teriyaki with veggies and rice, and what I got was 3 slivers of dried-out chicken jerky with no sauce. Already unacceptable for $15, but then I tried the rice and vegetables and found a piece of metal wire in my food — likely from a scrub brush. I bit it hard and it chipped my teeth. Imagine if I had swallowed that. This place isn’t just serving terrible food, it’s dangerous.
I tipped them thinking I was getting a decent meal, and they served me something inedible and hazardous. Save your money and your health — I’ve already filed a complaint with the health department.
See the photos — this isn’t food, it’s something you’d expect out of a gas station warmer after 2 days. My dog wouldn’t even touch it.
Save your money. You’re better off eating literally anywhere else in town.

This place is a great hidden gem. Best chinese food in Reno! Also the best prices. I tried the sweet and sour pork and beef with broccoli with half fried rice half noodle. It was a huge portion! The cheese Wontons were delicious, and you get a lot per order.

A 2.5 would be a better rating. The food wasn’t made to order. Ordered on doordash, but the food was ready in less than three minutes. Me and my boyfriend ordered sweet and sour chicken, chow mein, general tso’s and crab Rangoon. The container was supposed to be all generals chicken, but it was made like a combination. I thought that it was the best thing from the order besides the crab rangoon, which was very delicious. The sweet and sour chicken was cut kind of weirdly and had pieces that were inedible (gross hard bits in the chicken that you couldn’t chew) the noodles weren’t bad especially when paired with soy sauce. Overall I was a bit disappointed but willing to try another location.

This was my first visit to this particular Egg Roll King restaurant, as I usually go to the one in Sparks Nevada. I was very happy with the friendly service and the same high-quality food that the other Egg Roll King stores provide.
All of the food is very good, but my favorite is the house special. It’s only $4.95, and while simple, it provides a good portion of hot fresh chow mein and fried rice, with a crispy eggroll and sweet-and-sour sauce.
The location is very convenient on Wells Avenue with parking on the street right in front of the store. I’ve tried many of the other menu items and I have not been disappointed by anything. This is your best go to Chinese restaurant chain that has many convenient locations. I've had Uber eats deliver meals from the Egg Roll King, which is really convenient for eating at home.
Many thanks to the management and staff at Egg Roll King. Now, I’m going to continue to explore their extensive menu and also try each one of their other locations.
