The food here is super delicious, especially the veggie tempura, hummus, and the meats. Everything was amazing. The cocktails are also really good. The place has a totally cozy vibe and the staff is incredibly friendly. Prices are also very reasonable. I hadn’t seen a spot like this in downtown Reno before. Anyone visiting Reno should definitely check it out.
I have to begin by expressing my discontent that Estella changed ownership and no longer serves Mexican food. The tacos here were awesome and I really can’t understand why new ownership decided to change the concept completely while operating under the same name. It was certainly confusing to sit down and see that the menu was now Mediterranean. I understand that everything is change, but this one just didn’t make sense. The food was delicious. This was the most interesting Gyro I have ever had in a platter. I went here because of the review and recommendation for good Mexican food. But April 2025 the Estella’s had closed.
