It was my first time visiting a Famous Dave's BBQ, and my experience was horrible. We ordered brisket and chic ken the food was so dang dried out that the brisket crumbled that the chicken was not any better. How they could serve food like this to a hungry paying customer speaks volumes about their quality control and customer satisfaction as a whole. I will not be back, period.

My husband and I go to Reno every year for our anniversary. Famous Dave's has always been one of our lunch spots during our visit and use to be all 5 stars. I don't know if they have a new owner or manager but this year everything was different. It was still good just not excellent. My husband had the pulled pork ( he did not like this year) hot link, macaroni and cheese and beans. Includes corn muffin. I had the chicken tenders, hot link , macaroni and cheese, beans and corn muffin. I also had their smokin Island iced tea speciality cocktail which was fun to watch them make at our table but over priced . The service was fine. And the atmosphere was quiet as we were there in the middle of the week around 2 pm. I would love to go back like we do every year I just don't know if we will. So I give Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que 4 out of 5 stars . Mrs Smiley

I would rate 5 stars but when I asked if the hot link was a real hot link or a smoked sausage , I was assured it was a real hot link. Then I got it and it turned out to be a smoked sausage. š¤¦šæāāļø

This was mine and my boyfriends first time going here cause we thought weād try a new bbq placeā¦The service was great but the food was MID as h3|| I got the devils spit burger and it was supposed to be spicy but it tasted like the western bacon cheeseburger from Carlās Jr. i also got a side of jalapeno mac n cheese and it just tasted like regular mac n cheese nothing special about it. My boyfriend got burnt ends and pulled pork with a side of cornbread, famous daveās chili, and famous fries and everything was cold, the cornbread was dry, the only decent thing off his plate was the chili, the burnt ends didnāt fall apart or melt in your mouth how itās supposed to, it was served on soggy bread as well was the pulled pork. 10/10 donāt recommend going there if youāre looking for good bbq, our meal was almost $70 and it was not worth it at all. Also the people sitting around us were also saying that their food was cold and didnāt taste that great, so it wasnāt just us.

Brisket was prepared using the āhot and quickā method, and the steamed broccoli was nearly raw. The corn was perfect with 2 half cobs. Good portion size and reasonable prices
Food was absolutely terrible for the first time so disappointed, something has been changed. Management made it right, but should have never had to come to this. Hope what ever was changed they fix. Meat was tough, salad greens were not washed or something, corn was not seasoned. just very bummed didn't even eat, please correct what you all changed, begging you!

The food however, was meh at best. We got 3 different plate and none of us were impressed. Brisket was dry and bland. Other reviewers pointed out the same thing already so I wonāt extend this too long.
