So my husband and I walked in and weren't sure if we seat ourselves or what area of the establishment was open to sit. No one greeted us when we walked in it was kinda odd people just stare at you. There are several places in Reno that serve a good cioppino. The Flowing Tide Pub on South McCarran isn't one of them. Overcooked salmon and an anemic fish stock killed what is normally a bright, hearty dish. My wife ordered the fish and chips which turned out to be quite good! So, while Flowing Tide makes some really good food, I would avoid the cioppino.
