The food was super good, and our server had great energy and made sure we were well taken care of, will definitely be going back
Omg! Joe the waiter was absolutely over the top fabulous. He made the evening even better than we could've even dreamed. The food...was ok. One person ordered a New York steak instead it was a mushy rib eye and this person was a butcher for 30 years. He knows his cuts. He was very disappointed. The gnocchis were ok...extremely cheesy not the norm First round of drinks were great. Second not so much. I want nothing more than for this restaurant to succeed. We are so desperate for good restaurants in Sparks. The prices are a tad high. But, that's how it is these days. Thank you for your time in reading my review.
I went because the reviews where good, had the wedge salad and calamari, salad was poor, way too much dressing, calamari was warm not hot, very loud, busy, tried breakfast in AM as I was staying at hotel, very little choice one of the least appealing I have seen, did not bother with it, absolutely would not recommend.
Service was excellent, food was excellent and I loved the atmosphere. So glad I found this place
Serive was excellent! Food was very good as well. My wife ordered the Chiappino and I ordered the Lasagna.
The staff was very professional and friendly. Excellent food. However the noise level was high and made it difficult to talk. They need to add noise absorbing materials, and turn down the sound system.
The service is always outstanding and the food is amazing! Best Italian restaurant in town by far!
We had such a wonderful dinner at Gambi's! It's a pirate-themed Italian restaurant, and the atmosphere was so fun for everyone in our group. My 8-year-old nephew was obsessed with all the pirate decor, but honestly the adults enjoyed it just as much. The staff was incredibly friendly, and our waiter Joe absolutely made the night. He was fun, attentive, and went above and beyond for our table. My sister had a secret pregnancy reveal planned for the family, and Joe made the moment extra special with celebratory drinks. Truly unforgettable!! The food was delicious across the board. The gnocchi, veal ravioli, and tortellini with bolognese were standout dishes for all of us. Such a special night and we're so happy we spent it at Gambi's. We can't wait to come back to this hidden gem. Thank you for everything, Joe!!!!
Good food, house salad, Scampi, meatballs and cheesy risotto all were very good and priced fairly. Service was very friendly and attentive. Ambiance is a bit cavernous and odd with the skull theme but doesn't affect your dining negatively. Definitely would go back.
Excellent food & service, a hidden gem. Dinner: Lobster ravioli & cream of onion soup Cocktail: old fashioned

Really enjoy Gambi's. We were there for DJ Trivia night for the first time. The food as always was on par. One of our guests had the Lobster Ravioli and would order that the next time. The sauce and raviolis were outstanding. I had a dish that had been on the menu at their old location and no longer on the current menu. They prepared the dish just as awesome as I had hoped it would be. The food, service and playing trivia made for an exceptionally pleasant and enjoyable evening.
We were staying in the hotel and wanted a quick meal without leaving the hotel. It was a holiday weekend and they were definitely understaffed. The servers were running from table to table, but could not keep up. The food was great. The chicken piccata was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend additional staffing on holidays or weekends!
This was our worst experience in years. The food took 1.5 hours to come out of kitchen and it was all cold - the best part of this dinner was the appetizer and the bread.
Service was excellent, food was very good. Just for the price the atmosphere had a lot to be desired. It was very clean, but very open. Our waiter was great. They seated us immediately. I wish them the very best.
This is the second or maybe 3rd time we've enjoyed dining at Gambis. This is the first time we've eaten at the new location. The food and wine were just as excellent as I remembered. My wife had the veal ravioli in Marsala wine sauce and I had the chicken Marsala. Both great. After tasting my wife's dish I tried to sneak a few extra bites when she wasn't looking; no dice. She took pitty on me and gave me a few extra bites. Back to the new location. The space is voluminous with a piano player going at it and all other conversations leveled up to out compete the piano. Therefore the noise level was too high for an intimate, friendly conversaiton. I did mention it to the staff. Other than the atmosphere the dinner was good and I'd recommend it to anyone; but not for a quite dinner. Oh, prices. Yes prices were very reasonable. We will go back again.
