This restaurant is located near downtown Reno and is worth visiting. There is a Sunday Brunch crowd, so be prepared for a wait. But the wait is worth it!
There is a variety of food, a mix of Mexican and American. I had the French toast with mixed fruit and berries, and a side order of steak. You get your money’s worth, I had to ask for a to-go container, I was happily full.
There is indoor and patio seating with umbrella shade. The staff is busy hustling and are all so kind and quick on their feet. My server was Alex and he was fantastic, attentive and lovely.
Put this on your itinerary the next time you visit Reno. Enjoy 💕

Food was excellent - delicious, huge portions, so much flavor. Customer service was exceptional - friendly, courteous, fast despite the crowd. Definitely will be back when we are in town again.

I've eaten here once before and I really enjoyed the food, but we're were just sat on a Saturday morning and the service was abysmal. We were sat and essentially forgotten about. Witnessed wait staff taking multiple other tables orders that were sat after us and after reminding them that were were there, we ended up leaving because it had been 20 min and we still hadn't ordered our drinks.

Gloria’s Café is a true treasure. Being family-owned, it has that warm, welcoming feel the moment you walk in. The staff treat you like family, and you can tell how much care goes into everything they do.

The attention to detail in the food is outstanding, each dish feels homemade, fresh, and full of flavor. It’s rare to find a place where you can taste the love and dedication behind every plate, but Gloria’s Café absolutely delivers.

If you’re looking for a place with heart, amazing food, and genuine hospitality, Gloria’s Café should be at the top of your list.

This place isn’t even open on a Saturday for brunch…nothing online lets people know that they’re closed

I cherish every time I go to this place. I have never had such phenomenal chilaquiles. They turn a simple dish into a delicacy. Food and service was fantastic. They had clean bathrooms aswell which is something that makes me feel so much better about an establishment. Alex was charming and provided excellent service. When I come back to Reno one day I hope to come back here everytime!

A wonderful place to have breakfast. Fair pricing on very abundant and good tasting menu options. Location is in a semi-industrial area but well worth the visit.

i’ve learned some of the best places are the little hole in the wall ones off the beaten path. this is one of those.

it took a bit to get seated- Gloria herself was seating people (the quintessential mexican gramma ;-)), but we got a table outside on the little patio.
the menu has PLENTY to choose from but i’d recommend the french toast & chilaquiles! portions are quite large, the food is delish, and the servers are prompt!

if you’re anywhere in reno, definitely make it a point to go to brekkie at Gloria’s at least once!

If you have a couple of hours to spare, give this place a try. We arrived at 12:20 and waited 40 minutes to be seated, followed by another 40 minutes for our food. The young men working there were fantastic—very attentive and kind. When our food finally arrived, it was great. I ordered the California Benedict with a side of mini pancakes. The pancakes were the best I've had in a long time—perfectly fluffy! My son got the Chicken Club, which was huge. The only criticism would be the fries; I would have preferred them to be fried a bit longer as they were soggy.
