We go there once in a while for breakfast or brunch with friends. The food is excellent. The service is good. I love their french toast sandwich, absolutely delicious. But the last time we came in, it was an absolute embarrassment! It was about 9:30 AM, a customer of their came in. Soon after, that customer was loudly and repeatedly using profanity while talking with a bartender. The bartender seemed subdue at first but then joined in and used some profanity himself. Maybe that customer was a regular, but there is no excuse for such obnoxious behavior in
public. At moments like that, I am embarrass to call myself an American an a veteran of the US armed forces.

I accidentally stumbled on this restaurant when looking up best breakfast place. It’s open 24/7 so I didn’t know what to expect. We ended up ordering more than just breakfast items and we were blown away! Fish and chips were good! Their fries are so unique, they’re cut differently. Almost like the thickness of potato wedges with the crispiness of potato chips. I don’t usually like thick fries but these were amazing! The sauce was delicious too. The Diablo shrimp was pretty good but what stood out was the toast/crostini that came with it! It was soooo good. The Parlor burger was delicious!!!! Perfectly cooked and the braised short rib on top makes it even juicier. We were so full and we were unable to get dessert. Our server Rani (who was great) kept raving about the bread pudding so we came back the next day to try it lol It was absolutely worth coming back for! It’s seriously the best bread pudding I’ve ever had. When we come back to Reno, we will definitely be back to this establishment.
Perfect for a lively evening or fun group dinner
1 Star. You’ve Officially Lost Loyal Customers
This place used to be a staple for me and my friends emphasis on USED to. We’ve been coming here for years, spending good money, always respectful, always regulars. But apparently, all it takes is one accidental dropped glass for the management to lose their minds and treat us like criminals.
The reaction? A full-blown tantrum. Not a conversation. Not a moment of grace. Just an immediate cutoff from drinks like we were unruly children who needed discipline. The staff was smug, condescending, and embarrassingly unprofessional. I’ve seen better conflict resolution in a kindergarten sandbox.
Newsflash: glasses break in bars. If your establishment is so fragile that one mishap triggers a full-scale meltdown, maybe you’re in the wrong business.
We left stunned, embarrassed, and honestly furious. You don’t treat regulars like that. You don’t treat anyone like that. We won’t be back—and neither will the friends we told this story to.
Congratulations, Parlor. You just expelled your own best advocates. You wanted a lesson in hospitality? Consider this your final grade: F.

This place was great and the bartender John i believe had a great attitude and was very attentive. The food was amazing and the eggs were cooked just right. Then we went and ate dinner here and it was sooo good. They made the steak just right and everyone was very friendly and didn't seem like they didn't like their job. I love the environment!

All of the staff are extremely friendly and take great care of you. If you looking for a family dinner or drinks with friends this place provides both seamlessly. Plenty of TVs for whatever sport or event you would want to watch. Large boothes for groups or relaxed lounge chairs for a nice one on one drink with an old friend.
Great atmosphere, fantastic staff, and overall wonderful place to go.

Great chilly dark place on a hot day. Food is AMAZING! Steak, proper dinner, and quality pub/Gastro style food. Bar Keno is loose 👌, the bartenders are great, and the drinks are stiff. Classy, cool and chill. Great 20th hole spot.

Restaurantji Recommends
I was out of town, between meetings, and decided to try this place, and I'm so glad I did! I had the club plate with taters for lunch – phenomenal! Perfect portion size, not too heavy. Chelsea was my server, and the service was amazing; she was super sweet and helpful, making it a great first experience. The atmosphere was cool, a little dark, and really enjoyable. I'll definitely be back and totally recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal.
