I just arrived to Reno and as a gluten-free eater, I’m often concerned about finding food that I can eat when I travel for work. I was so thrilled to walk into Haven on Earth today and find that the entire shop is gluten-free! This is virtually unheard of and it literally made my day. I was able to get bread for my week in town, hamburger buns, and a few pastry delights, including the cinnamon roll that they’re known for which, I must say, is absolutely the best cinnamon roll...
Gluten free delicious and fresh! Nice customer service as well. Pricey but worth it. They even have gluten free vegan flax bread and vegan gluten free donuts. Very scrumptious yet with some health benefits! Flax, millet and psyllium in the bread is helpful for my digestive system not to mention it tastes great. Soft and doughy unlike most gluten free products!!
Heaven on Earth is a dedicated Gluten Free Deli and Bakery. They have everything from breakfast sandwiches to turkey panini. If you're looking for something sweet, they have that too. I've had many of their Bakery items, doughnuts, cupcakes, lemon bars... all delicious! Something to note, the doughnuts are cake style, not yeasty types. My favorite is thei lemon doughnut!!
