Food - ordered combo with fried rice. Received double generals chicken. Had a hint of cinnamon and tasted great. A little bold and not too much spice - hits home Fried rice was dry. Hot n sour soup was fantastic. A little salty however it really really tasted great Huge portions. I mean really huge. Employee of the month= Maria She enjoys working here and goes out of her way to help and assure you that you're happy!! I can't say enough of how beautiful of a person she is. This place has a steady flow of regulars. Food comes out fast!!!

Visited 3/12/24 Years ago this place was my favorite Chinese food, years later I still feel the same. Portions are large and inexpensive. I haven't been disappointed. I dined in on lunch and ordered the beef and string beans. Amazing!!! For it be lunch hour and busy my food came out quick and was hot and flavorful. I enjoyed ever bit of it

We ordered the dinner sushi special for $29.99 which came with 3 rolls, 2 hand rolls and appetizers. Best bang for your buck especially for sushi. another great thing about this place is they're one of the places that open late in Reno.

I'd have shared a photo of my lunch, but how many pictures do you need to see of a pile of chow mein noodles accompanied by piping hot stir-fry items? This place is fine. Don't expect bells and whistles and fancy napkins. After all, the few lighter-than-air gossamer napkins they provide will likely be needed to soak up the sauce that spills out of your poorly packaged meal while you drive back home. The food is hot, but overly sauced. The proteins are of decent enough quality (especially the chicken), but you won't get much (considering that you're getting a gigantic pile of food for $11, you shouldn't be surprised). The vegetables are tasty, albeit sogged out from the aforementioned sauceapalooza. They prepare your food hastily, so you'll be fed fast. I believe the word "Diner" in the restaurant's name sums it up perfectly. You'll have food. You'll mostly enjoy it. You won't pay too much.

The food is okay at best but the service is terrible. Staff are rude/dismissive.

I started with the Hot & Sour soup, followed by General Tso's chicken and white rice. I must applaud their portion sizes here. The soup was ok and left no lasting impression apart from containing a pork-like mystery meat. The chicken appeared to be an overcooked, heavy batter but this was not the case. It was fine. I found the sauce to be in line with other similar lower budget, lower quality Chinese places.Interestingly, the total bill was over $24.00 and right at $30.00 after a 20% tip, which feels excessive to me.

While picking up an order for Doordash, the lady working here told me to come back when I could eat because I'm too skinny!! ? In a funny, friendly way. Clean restaurant, always smells amazing, freshly prepared meals for decent cost, and I'm obviously a fan of the staff. Haha. Our son goes to eat here often. Nice little spot for a bite.

The food is AMAZING. I don't know why the railings aren't better for this place. The inside ambiance is not particularly beautiful, but if the food is good who cares. We got a large catering order which was set up ahead of time, unfortunately we did have to wait about 20 minutes past the agreed upon time for them to finish the order. But the food is so good and the portions are great, we don't mind waiting for fresh food. This will be our take out place forever!

I Use to come here 2-3 times a week because I worked near by, but the last time I order was the Chef crispy wings and it was rancid with the meat tasting odd and wasn't crispy but leathery. With that being said. The owner/chef can care less about the quality of the food he pushes out from the kitchen. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! this place is also very dirty!

Not sure if the orange chicken is fresh due to a stomach ache. Inconsistency in cooking the food quality seems to be up and down. Found a piece of raw pork in my shrimp and broccoli plate.

I found the food here to be authentic and the service was very pleasant. The place was clean and presentable. The portion size was very generous which I found to be hard to find in this area. The pork chow mein had lean slices of BBQ pork which I appreciated. The amount of curry used in the Singapore noodles was just the right amount to give it the taste I expected. I look forward to trying other food items the next time I am in the south Reno area.

I recently ordered from here. The food is good. Needs a bit more variety of menu options. The place is good. Best for take out. They are a bit short staffed, or used to be when I ordered frequently from them. Not sure if that's the case anymore, but a while ago, you used to have to wait for a while , after you got to the restaurant, for your take out order. They are friendly and good. I'm not sure about their dine in anymore. That was good before COVID.
