Delicious sandwiches and pastries.
Love it here. They have the best chocolate chip pumpkin bread!! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend 🙂
WOW….. I kid you not I just had the best muffin I have ever tasted. I’m in shock, I was skeptical coming here at first, but when I stepped in they had such a variety of sweet treats and they use OLIVE OIL. Not so many bakery’s do that anymore. 100% recommend.
Disappointed in selection of pastries and freshness of the selection. I was in on Thursday to find old strawberry cream pastry, dry and hard to cut into. Selection was limited. What they offered looked old and lacked appeal.
Wonderful food,great pastries,friendly staff
Love this place
We were not greeted on the way in, and it was unclear how or where to order. When I said I'd never been there before and didn't know where to order they told me I could order at the counter and they would bring it out to us at a table. The lady who was taking our order seemed irritated when I asked her about some of the ingredients. When the coffees finally came out, after we had already received our food, they were lukewarm at best. I'm really surprised after such good reviews that we had such a bad experience.
my son and I stopped in this morning to try, and we are absolutely in love!!!!! I got a blta on sourdoughand it was literally the best sandwich I've ever had. my son goy a create your own breakfast sandwich and said it was now his fave place! thank you!
House of Bread is an absolute gem! I came to Reno from Sacramento on a business trip, initially looking for a light breakfast. However, as soon as I stepped inside, the enticing aromas and inviting atmosphere changed my mind completely. I ended up indulging in their delicious croissant breakfast sandwich, while my wife savored a perfectly flaky plain croissant accompanied by a rich, aromatic coffee. The flavors were simply outstanding, showcasing the bakery's commitment to quality ingredients and expert craftsmanship.
Impressed by our breakfast experience, we couldn't resist purchasing some of their freshly baked bread to take home.

This place is cozy and the food was delicious. We bought some homemade salsas to try. Atmosphere is great but could use a little music in the dining area.

They make THE BEST bread! Their sandwiches are good and they have a lot of variety. The service was a little slow--but it was a Saturday & we didn't mind. If you live in the Reno area I highly recommend checking them out! The dining area is spartan, but not unwelcoming. AVOID going there when the high-school next door is on lunch break. They flood the place & showed no respect for elders buy letting a 68-year-old companion hold the door she opened to walk in, while they all streamed out, without even so much as a thank you. I would have dropped the door, personally.
