The food was so well executed, perfect flavors and textures!
The food was absolutely amazing! I got the chimichanga with cactus. It was HUGE! Had a bit of heat to it but was not overwhelming at all. Horchata was great, not too sweet. Loved the different types of protein that you could choose from.
Chimichangas and Diosas (gordita)
Always consistently good and the owners are great people! I usually go with the al pastor chimichanga.
Everything we've tried on the menu is great. Seems like you can't go wrong with this place. Highly recommend. Friendly staff and quick service. We love stopping by here on our way back from skiing or whenever we are in this part of town.
Great, friendly service. A large varied selection of entrées, sandwiches, burgers, and others. I tried the chicken sandwich with fries. Both were very good. The price being $20 is pretty expensive, which is my main reason for not giving 5 stars. I like plant based options at restaurants and fully plant based is ideal (you don't have to omit this and that and pay full price), but restaurant prices are way too high for my liking.
We had the asada nachos and cactus chimichanga. The food was fine but nothing exceptional. Would go back again if I had a vegan/vegetarian friend visit. $17/plate feels expensive but not obscene. Knocked off one star because at the end they charged an extra $1 to pay by credit. There was no sign warning us of this, nor was it mentioned on the menu. I go to a restaurant not merely for the food but to have a good experience, and that was a very much not good ending to an otherwise fine meal. At $17/plate for passable Mexican food, tacking on an extra $1 credit card charge makes me feel nickel-and-dimed.

Food is great. Just Wishing they had delivery services, i think the loaction would get more attention that way. Location is far but I'd love to order food without hauling my non vegan kids over there.

Food was ok but mostly slightly bland and greasy. Got the tostada salad with soy and pineapple and nachos with asada. The meats were the best part.
Amazingly fresh, authentic ingredients with wonderfully robust flavors!

This place is currently the most delicious and caring vegan restaurant in Reno. The diosas and sopes are ten out of ten! Smoothies are also good.
We had the pastor and asada burritos and the special “fish” tacos. They were all fantastic! I’m so relieved to have found such a great vegan restaurant in Reno. The women who served and cooked was also very sweet and helpful. It made the whole experience even better. We are visiting for a conference and will definitely be eating here as many times as we can sneak away!
Reno is so lucky to have this restaurant. All vegan, and so good. I’ve had Tacos Pastor so many times, I know I should try something else, but why? Yummy. Everything is cooked to order, not fast food. Beautiful inside, and very clean.
I honestly don’t even want to give it a star. I’m not one to complain but that was absolutely horrible. They charged us for the chips and dip and there wasn’t even enough salsa for 2 chips which were brown and painfully crunchy. Their horchata was like water with a dirt taste. The amount of beans and rice was was so small and flavorless. Even my infant spit it out. They staff were very sweet but I feel played. We paid $64 for two trash plates.

As a vegan, I’m always hoping for the best. But.. oof. Have to be honest, so disappointed. The food lacked flavor, spice, any kind of wow-factor. My husband’s spicy chicken sandwich wasn’t spicy at all. Fries weren’t crispy or even hot. My tacos looked pretty but the walnut-meat tasted like all mushroom and oil, no crunch, no “omg” moment. You couldn’t mix and match “meats.” Two meals and chips and salsa cost us $57 before tip!! The kicker, no chips and salsa at the table, we had to order it extra. The salsa was in a itty-bitty saucer. I will say the guacamole was really good. Would really love to see this restaurant take it up a notch or two. Add some heat to their dishes. We need vegan restaurants and this one has so much potential!!
