Hey corporate, STOP SHORTING YOUR SERVERS.

The tip recommendations actually gives less tip than the percentage it is supposed to advise. Servers getting less money than the percent customers actually want to tip, is unacceptable. I may see the math is wrong and fix it myself, but I'm sure many people just trust the tip recommendations without catching the issue.

Will change the review and stars once this issue is resolved.

I want to go back for lunch. Breakfast for me was ok. I had banana fosters French toast, not what I thought it would be and need more banana.

Veronica was the perfect waitress for my partner and I during our road trip. She was calm, collected, and absolutely on top of everything. She's such a cool person who works incredibly hard, and her positive attitude truly made our day!

Thank you so much, Veronica. Merry Christmas—you’re amazing! 🧡🎄🧡

Wait wasn't worth the food. There shouldn't even be a wait.

This breakfast-lunch spot is unique in that it has a Louisiana theme, both with the menu and with the decor. The menu features a shrimp Po' Boy, gumbo, and beignets among other things Louisiana.

I had The Riverboat omelet which comes with something called "country reds". I couldn't find an explanation on the menu. Basically, Country Reds are Redskin potatoes that appear to have been boiled and then baked along with red and green bell peppers and onions.

Interestingly, I didn't detect any Cajun seasonings in my omelette or in the potatoes. I ordered a side of bacon which turned out to be two pretty small pieces for $4.99.

The server was fantastic but overworked. Essentially this one sweet girl had the entire restaurant and by my count seven tables while other employees did very little to help her that I could see. So things moved a little slow. Surely at least one of them could have walked around with a water pitcher and helped a little bit? But this was not the case.

If this place had one shaker of Cajun seasoning and at least one other helpful employee, it would really hit the mark. It's definitely good and worth four stars.

Went there today for lunch was told it was a 45 minute wait then was told by one of the servers not sure why it would take that long but she would help us.. we waited there for an hour and still never got our food, people that came in AFTER we did were getting served before us and all we ordered were a waffle and crepes smh

Food was mediocre at best! Server Veronica was excellent. She got seated 7 times after us and didn’t miss a beat. Biggest compliment is that although the place is called Huckleberry’s they do not have huckleberry syrup available for pancakes, waffles or crepes. It is available to buy by the bottle but not for table service. They do have a compote they make and we were offered but we did not receive it even though we said yes to trying it. Server was not the food runner so it was missed. Still odd to me they wouldn’t have their namesake syrup available for dine in service.

A cool atmospheric, breakfast diner that gives off New Orleans vibes.

My breakfast was amazing — shrimp with scrambled eggs and bell peppers with a side blueberry muffin. I ate EVERYTHING.

My waitress, April, was also very kind and attentive to what I needed.

I will definitely be back.
