WAY too expensive for a mom and two sons. The atmosphere, staff, and food DOES NOT justify a $160.00 bill with tip.Music blaring with a "shovel it in quick and go" vibe. Server was not attentive. Bus person was however very attentive. They of course forgot to celebrate my son's birthday as promised on arrival.Bottom line, this place is too expensive to even remotely enjoy.

$40 for an 11 year old + roaches! It has been about a year since I last went to Ijji 4 and they have always been on the pricy side but as a sometimes treat I thought it worth it. The place is starting to look a bit rough around the edges with paper notices taped everywhere, including one from the holiday season at our booth. Boy was I shocked to discovered not just a two person minimum for all you can eat but they also consider an 85lb 11 year old an adult. Yes I could have lied but I should not need to. If the price was reasonable fine but at $40 ($39.95) a head this is just ludicrous. My wife and daughter wanted al-la-cart so with the two person minimum that left me and my son to AYCE. I will admit the servers were kind and attentive during the meal and the food tasted good as always. Although they were very dismissive if not visibly annoyed regarding the new prices resulting in a I just work here line. I was obviously annoyed with my bill which was well over $100 even though we only had water for the table and white rice for my daughter. I probably would have just left annoyed but we soon made a nauseating discovery. As I left the restroom after washing up my wife let out a shriek and pointed at the ground where I had to dodge the roach which was walking around like it owned the place. I snapped my picture and stormed to the front and demanded the manager. I was now nauseous and visibly upset. After showing her the picture and telling her she needs to hire an exterminator, she didn't apologize or even seem surprised but instead demanded to know where and when I saw it and grabbed someone and went back to look. She came back a few minutes later with a smile said don't worry I got it and then proceeded to show guests to their seats ignoring me. After storming out I decided to tell my story since I have a feeling it is the only way something will happen. Suffice it to say I am not going back to any Ijji establishment any time soon especially if this is how managers are trained.Kid-friendliness: The AYCE child prices are obscene. 11 year old dinner is $39.95 and $26.95 for a 6 year old. Al-la-cart is the only real reasonable option. Since they have a no sharing policy you can't even give them a taste if you don't do AYCE, try explaining that to a 6 year old.

First time going here. Not many AYCE KBBQ places in Reno. Went here for lunch on Easter and got quite busy. Only disappointment was that I truly wish steamed eggs were in the menu. I'd even pay extra.Husband was a little upset he ordered extra rice 2 more times and it was never brought. Everything else was good service was too notch.Vegetarian options: Kimchi, lettuce, seaweed, cucumber , mushrooms, rice, garlic bread, vegetable spring rolls

Food portion is tiny. And they try to hide so you can’t find them easily to order next round. What’s pissing us is they would not let us sit inside. There are plenty of tables inside thatwe could use, but they forced us to sit outside where it’s really cold. They saw us hesitant and several of them came to us at the same time to corner me and try to strong arm us. Really worst experience ever. But I do need to mention it had nothing to do with our waiter. He’s been nice and considerate to us.

Highly recommended. Love eating here. We came with 8 friends. The service was great. I saw about 5 different people servicing us taking orders and serving drinks. Only thing is you can't split the check. Wasn't a problem for us because we could just zelle or cashapp one person for our bill. We ate til we had to poop. 40 bucks a person for the all you can eat.

We used to eat here like once a week over the years, but it seems like they keep raising prices. $40 per person for dinner is absurd for the quality of food you get here. I honestly dont think the meal is worth more the $25 per person, and that is being generous. I guess if I weighed 400 pounds and could sit and eat 20 pounds worth of food, it'd be worth it. But I cant justify that price for what you get.

Tried all you can eat during lunch time. Like beef brisket and beef belly and spicy pork. Unfortunately they don't have beef tongue.

1.13.24: I was wanting Korean BBQ and since my friend had never been, I thought it'd be a fun outing. When we walked in, we were greeted and seated immediately as it wasn't super busy yet. We enjoyed the low light ambience as it gives more of a chill vibe, however it doesn't always make for great food pics lol.We did the All-You-Can-Eat and enjoyed all the meats, fixings, sides, and sauces. The menu is pretty big and there's many meat, appetizer, and veggie choices...so many that it's too much to list! However, definitely try the bulgogi meat. It's always so tender and I love the marinade they use.Because you BBQ your own meat, you're able to cook it any way you want! I like to get creative mixing different sauces and veggies and having new flavors. They are really good at changing the burner plate--so good that I actually had to ask them to stop. The reason being is because I like getting that char and season on the grill, similar to cooking on a cast iron skillet. Hence, that's why you see in my pics the charred grill...it may look dirty, but I assure you it's just "seasoned" if you know what I mean.We always order a fun drink when we go out and today was no different! I had the Mai Tai and my friend had the Watermelon Mojito. Mine was pretty good and almost on the brink of too much rum but that's the way I like it.One thing to note, is that I noticed Ijji servers work as a team, therefore, you're checked on frequently and empty dishes are removed almost immediately. This is a great place to eat because it's unique and you always experience different different flavors each time.Parking: Parking lot can get busy and full being that it's next to another restaurant and a pub

Unfortunately, most of the food was marginal at best. We tried the set plates vs. the all you can eat, "cook your meat," which most folks were having. Husband had chicken that was dry, under seasoned, and served with the same watery sauce as the seafood pancake. I had the fried fish, which came with a gloppy sweet and sour sauce usually found in packets from take out joints. Fish was also under seasoned. The seafood pancake was terrible - tasteless, no seasoning, and was served with some kind of watery tasteless sauce. The beef tartare is good but isn't served with any accompaniments like toast to eat it with. Kimchi rice was also good, the only dish that had authentic Korean seasoning, but was served barely room temperature. Cocktails were also subpar - margaritas purported to be made with fresh lime, but had that chemically fake lime taste you get with cheap mixers. Truman's Tea was just overly sweet masking any other ingredients. And, if the quality of the food wasn't bad enough, one of the employees dragged a metal garbage can down the aisle between the tables, screeching and scraping on the floor - twice! All in all, not a great experience. Because the food was so bland, we brought the leftovers home to give to the dog.

My first and last time here. Maybe it's just me but the meat was greasy and everything else was just okay.
