I was jones-ing for some donuts, and as I was near midtown/Plumb, The Jelly Donut was the place to go. This long-established donut shop still provides a great value when you need a fix of chocolate old-fashioned or a cake donut. Parking can be hit-or-miss, but there is both front-side and back-side spots. The people are friendly, and you can get a good assortment of choices if you get there early.

This donut shop has a wide assortment of donuts and sandwich selections. I went in just for a coffee and a donut. I chose the apple bear claw. It was so large and loaded with filling that I could only eat half. Maybe next time I'll try their cake donut or donut holes. The staff was friendly and served us quickly. There is indoor seating and a small parking lot out front. I went on a Saturday at lunchtime and the small parking (shared with Coin Laundry next door) was almost full.

Went there to get donuts and the girl that works there had carts full of donuts and she said she couldn't grab any from back there but only had half a tray of donuts on the front... It's 24 hour donuts I dont get

Went here after we walked inside Doughboys on Mae Anne and they turned us away saying they were closed at 8 during a weekend. Thankfully Jelly Donut was open and it was great we went because their glazed donut was one of the softest and freshest most delicious donut I’ve had in so long. Definitely Jelly Donuts tasted fresher than doughboys. This is my new favorite donut place.

I buy a dozen donuts every couple weeks for friends this is the only place I go. They have a special needs son and he actually works there and works very hard - a family business putting out good product.
