The food and service were both enjoyable, but the price didn’t match the experience. The portion sizes were smaller than expected, and even after finishing our meals, we weren’t completely satisfied. Our bill came to $48, including an $8 tip, which felt excessive for what we received. I had the chicken fried steak, and my girlfriend had the BLTA—both tasty but not particularly filling. A single glass of iced tea was $4. While the service was great, the pricing was steep, unfortunately in line with many places in Reno.

First time here, ordered French toast combo and garlic chicken BLT. Split both meals with my partner and both were delicious!
This place was highly recommended & no disappointment, we enjoyed a new fantastic favorite local place.

Josef's never disappoints. Found this local Reno eatery many years ago and it's my go to everytime we take a trip there. I've recommended Josef's to every person that mentions a trip to Reno to me and they to end up becoming repeat visitors. Food never disappoints...always fresh and locally sourced. Next time you are in Reno, especially if you are staying at the Peppermill or Atlantis, skip the casino breakfast/brunch buffet and head over to Josef's. You won't be sorry 😉
