We used to love this place! The prices were affordable and the food was always good and service was quick. However, I am not sure if there is a new owner or just just a whole new staff but something has changed; changed for the worse! The last 2 times we were there, the service was terrible and the fish tasted old and spoiled. The first time this happened, we let it slide, but the next time we went it was 10x worse. It took about 1 hour to get just 1 order of Nigiri and 1 long roll. The fish tasted old and spoiled. The staff was rude and were just socializing with each other the whole time. Unfortunately, our former favorite place in Reno was so blatantly awful, that we will not be back.

This place was HORRIBLE! We came on Friday night at about 5pm, we had 5 people and hardly anyone was here. Nothing came the same no matter how many times you order it. This service was nonexistent. The server didn't know anything about the place and wasn't new. The food took forever no matter if it was cooked or raw. I wanted to try this place so bad and will never go here or recommend it again!

Service was terrible. Not very clean. The food was the worst part. The rolls had items in them that weren't even suppose to be in it. The teriyaki chicken had bits of grizzled and bone, and lots of fat! All 6 of us left still hungry!

I am a big fan of sushi. I like trying new things while always having old favorites to turn to. The menu here is extensive and complete. From fried rolls to hand rolls and fresh nigiri - any true sushi fan should visit KitzMo. The wait staff is prompt and attentive. Food comes out when ready and always hot. Apps are served first - and they almost always have bar or table seating available. There are other sushi restaurants in Reno "more popular" or "well known". But their food is over rated. This seemingly hidden gem is one of my top "go to's" when I want good sushi!
All you can eat Sushi for $28. It was delightful and the Bento Box was yummy. I so recommend this place if you are in Reno. The owner was there checking on everyone and he was a very nice gentleman. Enjoy all...

This place is usually really good. I've eaten there many times. However, tonight we picked up an order and one of the rolls was a godzilla roll that was worse than what you find at a gas station. I have never had a sushi roll made with canned tuna. I'm kinda shocked actually because I've never been disappointed here. It was disgusting. It was like eating a tuna sandwich with sea weed and rice with a little bit of hot sauce. I don't think I'll be going back for a while. Terrible experience.

WOW. What a deal. We got the all you can eat dinner and I'm telling you: the sushi is so good. There isn't a ton of rice on each piece like other places, which is how it should be. The seafood was fresh and well kept. We could tell because none of the sauces were doused on; they perfectly complemented each piece. We ordered like 3-4 times. Everything was excellent. There are literally dozens and dozens of options that were all delicious. We are DEFINITELY going again. Just recalling this makes me want sushi rn tbh.

I was disappinted to see they use the articifical crab sticks in their hand rolls and cut rolls. This seems like such a short-cut and the end product is definitely not good. My sincerest advice would be to at least use shredded crab and use a mayo-based binder like most other restaurants. C'mon, you can do better.
