Server was very nice and seemed on top of it.

But sushi came out slow and didn't seem to be that great. On top of that, you are limited to 1 of a number of different items on the menu. One thing that was pretty gross - the mussels were kind of goopy. I can't think of a better word to describe it, but they were off.

If they were the cheapest in town, this would be acceptable. But not at their AYCE prices in my opinion. Overall not a good visit at all.

I hate leaving a bad review and I fought to not do this one, but I feel it needs to be shared.
Upon entering the restaurant, the host was professional. After we sat down, it was as if everything changed. The server was very abrupt, couldn’t find her to ask any question's. It became a conversation between myself and the men making the sushi. There is something I could say about that, but I will exclude it.
The sushi was average, nothing to write home about.
The way I was treated was. enough for me to never go back. I had been so excited to have a new sushi restaurant in the area, but I am going back to my usual spot. We all work hard for our money, and we can spend it anywhere we want. A little grace and good service would go a long way in this place. Hopefully they get it right.
As an aside, there were only 2 other people dining, so I wish I could say it was because they were busy….

I live nearby and come here once a week. It’s my favorite in town. The fish is always fresh and they have some great rolls. I recommend the Kuma roll

Our recent visit was deeply disappointing and frankly embarrassing. After settling our bill, we were publicly accused—twice—by a server of not paying. Not only was this accusation completely false, but it was also delivered in an unprofessional and loud manner, ensuring that everyone around could hear.

This level of hostility and carelessness is unacceptable. Mistakes can happen, but the way it was handled—by running after us and shouting—was disrespectful, humiliating, and entirely avoidable with a simple internal check or polite conversation.

We expected better from an establishment that claims to value its customers. Sadly, this experience has left a lasting negative impression, and we won’t be returning.

My kids and friends have been here before and said the quality of the fish is usually better. However on this day it wasn’t; by looking at the pictures you can compare it to my other sushi experiences.
Tuna thin and very pale looking vs deep red, salmon didn’t look that good either; both tasted “blah”.
Several pieces very tiny - inari, tamago and unagi.
Service wasn’t that great either and had to ask for several items and follow up on our order.
Overall not good. Sadly do not believe we will be back and do not recommend.

Frequently visited this place when they opened and it was great. Held off on leaving a review in case they did the usual quality switch. It happened. Soft shell crab appetizer is now just a sliver of crab. Same can be said for the spider roll. It's just a baked roll full of imitation crab and a small piece of soft shell. Nigiri pieces are smaller. Everything is drenched in lemon skin salsa. Removed 12 pieces of lemon rind from 2 pieces of fish. It has become like every other hole in the wall sushi spot in Reno.

A large variety of appetizers with the all you can eat. Rolls didn’t include fruits. Fast service on a Sunday dinner.

All you can eat sushi and dessert for four people around $150.
