I used to love L&L but there is no love when they're making their food. I called in an order and my husband picked it up. The service was very good. The people here are very nice. I got the BBQ Chicken plate and he got the BBQ short ribs. My chicken was over cooked, very fatty and bland. My husband's short ribs were also over cooked and dry. This is the 2nd L&L that I've been too here in Reno. I was hoping that this one would be better, Nope! This is strictly about the food not the staff. The staff were very pleasant.

Chicken katsu over cooked, dry. Unable to enjoy it. Ate the rice and the Mac salad. Ordered the large order to have it for 2 days. That's didn't work out!

As always, the food is wonderful. Definitely recommend this place for food. My issue with today's visit was the service. In the past we have always had great service. Today, it was someone different and his customer service skills were non-existent. If someone is standing in front of you, first step is to acknowledge them. Maybe a smile? How about "hi, what can I get for you"? Instead we got the dead look, and just standing there. Had no idea if he was ready to take our order because seriously, nothing was said. I don't normally make comments regarding service but this was beyond awful. But...the food was fantastic.
This was our first time ordering from this location! I ordered something that I've never had, BBQ Beef sandwich. It was amazing! Can't believe it took me this long to try it. The other items that were ordered for my family was great, too. The only thing is they forgot the sauce on the chicken katsu. Other than that, I believe it is worth 5 stars! Hope this helps.

I've been eating at this chain for years in Vegas. The food at this location was standard, but they didn't include any sauces in our to-go order. We had 2 katsu chickens and 2 BBQs. In Vegas wewouldn't have gone without the katsu and BBQ sauces.

Food was good service was not 100% a girl working from the Pizza Hut was at the register with the employee at l&l and was just talking instead of attending customers . The tables are wobbly and price is outrageous definitely gonna support aloha shack instead .

Food was on point! The service was amazing. We had never been here before and there menu is HUGE! Jaden was so professional and a big help with explaining everything on the menu. I was so impressed with how he explained the food to us and he was so friendly and happy doing it.After we had got done eating dinner I went up to Jaden to tell him how helpful he was and he shook my hand and introduced himself to me. I ended up having the BBQ protein plate it came with chicken,Beef, short ribs and two eggs! You have to go check this place out. So yummy
