We enjoyed the food. The wines we selected were both not tasty at all. One was acidic and one smelt like spray paint. There server did not know the drink menu. We will be back to eat again.

We had dinner before a show at the Pioneer. The service was great--friendly and efficient. We got our food in ample time to get to our performance but didn't feel hurried. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Will go back.

We had the most delicious dinner with fantastic service. Our server was lovely and vivacious with so much character and personal touch. I wish I could remember her name but she was so pretty with the perfect evening red lipstick. Our beet salads were incredible. We enjoyed sharing the Penne and a chicken parm plus a beautiful bottle of Four Graces pinot. Can't wait to go back!

We celebrated our Valentine Day with a dinner on Friday evening reserved a week ahead. My husband had a beautiful bouquet of flowers on the table when we arrived. The wine was great, the bread fresh and tasty. However my husbands dish was served completely cool, my dish was nice and hot. We sent his back and by the time it came back I was already finished. So we really didn't get to actually have our dinner together. So very disappointed and sad.

Overall good. We had the burrata and that was great - although they should give 4 bread pieces with it, not 3 (odd number that's usually harder to split). Our server was great and super helpful recommending food and wine options.

Last year was better but it was still pretty good. Chicken Parmesan is a large portion and very good. Baked penne rated 4/5 by the wife, bruschetta was ok but next time may just go straight for entree. Really loud with the place packed but a nice setting.

I had the scallops and they were the best scallops I've had in years. It's noisy but the restaurant was full of Pioneer Center attendees. It wouldn't have been good that night for a romantic dinner because it was too loud. My husband had veal and he was pleased but said scallops were better.
We go to La familiar every time we go to Reno Always great!!!! Staff is friendly/ fantastic and food is always very tasty I always order veal Saltibucco , it is not on the menu but chef always cooks it!!! It is so good !!! We were a party of five and all left happy !!
Having dinner at La Familia is always an experience and a pleasurable one at that. Starting off with the drinks all the way through dessert was an absolute delight. starting off with the appetizers were fresh and very flavorful, and that Bronzino fish was out of this world.

First time to La Famiglia - should have gone sooner! All four diners in our party LOVED their entrees - lasagna, scampi, house special ravioli and pollo saltimbucco were all fantastic. We also all loved the bruschetta appetizer. Wait staff were lovely and perfect in their attentiveness. The food actually was served hot - hard to find at many restaurants and a huge win in my book. Can't wait to go back again soon.

I visited this place for the first time, and I have to say the service was pretty good, food was so so. I ordered fettuccine alfredo because I felt like you can't really miss that up. I'd say it was okay and flavoring was all right. I'd like to come back and try there raviolis and see how that is because they said that they make them in house fresh so I might do that. The drink, cocktail that I got was pretty good as well.
