Went with a large group of friends (with 1 months notice to owner) but they must have forgotten to stock and staff appropriately. Manager/owner could have at least come out and acknowledged the problem. Orders took over 1.5 hrs, meatball sandwiches were mediocre at best. Prices did not support the overall experience.

Best meatballs in Reno...single sliced pizza available is huge...my husband and I go at least 3x a month. Kristy is awesome. Knows all customers and there favorite orders in bar section. We love the wings too. Just trying new menu...so far, so good.
We loved Sullys at Tamarack. The food at this Cadino is now reasonable but few items on menu will ever be ordered by us again.
Worst spaghetti and meatballs in Ren at DC Cafe at Tamarack

We loved the pizza but unfortunately it is so expensive that I won't be eating there again. Four pizzas and a salad, six drinks, I get it, hundred bucks, 120? How about 160? I can take the grandkids to Red Robin for Less.

Lamp Post Pizza in Reno, Nevada, is a welcoming spot that perfectly combines a family-friendly pizzeria with the energy of a lively sports bar. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels relaxed yet buzzing, with big screen TVs mounted throughout the space so you never miss a game. The interior is casual and spacious, with plenty of seating for both large groups and smaller gatherings, making it a great place to meet up with friends, watch sports, or grab a meal with the family. The mix of modern bar design and classic pizza joint vibes creates an environment that appeals to both locals and visitors looking for a laid-back place to hang out.

The sports bar area is a standout feature. With multiple games playing at once, the energy is contagious—fans cheer, talk, and enjoy the camaraderie of a true game-day experience. The bartenders are friendly and quick, offering a good selection of drinks on tap as well as cocktails to pair with your meal. It’s the kind of place where you can spend hours watching back-to-back games while enjoying consistently good food.

When it comes to the menu, the pizza and wings are definitely the stars. The pizzas are loaded with toppings, baked to a perfect balance of crispy crust and gooey cheese, and served hot every time. Whether you go for a classic pepperoni or a specialty pie, the flavor doesn’t disappoint. The wings are equally impressive—crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and available in a range of sauces that suit every taste, from mild to spicy. Combined with the casual setting, good service, and energetic sports bar vibe, Lamp Post Pizza offers one of Reno’s most enjoyable spots for both food and atmosphere.

Sad day. Lampost pizza is officially no longer Lampost. Went yesterday and got a pepperoni pie. Can confirm that the new owners have messed with the ingredients. It tasted nothing like a Lampost pizza. It was thin, chewy and sad. Not worth the money at all. That will be my last time spending money there. People just can’t leave good things alone. Shame.

Ordered two pizzas. Received one that had different ingredients than what I ordered and had to remove a bunch of the toppings. The pesto is somehow really bland. Would have been one star, but the second pizza was mid.

10/10 pizza and wings!! First time trying this place and I will definitely be back. The pizza is perfection and not chewy like other pizzas I’ve had. Simply one of the best pizzas I’ve had. The pepperoni was the right crispiness and their salads are also fresh and delicious. The wings are crispy yet tender the way I like them! The staff is also friendly and attentive. Major kudos to the Chef and team!

Lamppost used to be our favorite traditional style pizza. A few months ago I ordered for takeout and something was different about the pizza. Not great. Thought maybe it was an off night.

Ordered a couple of pizzas last night and the pizzas again were different that any pizza we’ve had at Lamppost in the last 15+ yrs. The dough used to be delicious- soft, thick and airy. Last night it was thin and chewy. Almost like it hadn’t been properly proofed.

I was on Yelp this morning and saw a review from a couple of days ago where another customer had a similar experience and was told by the manager that the new owners are tweaking the recipe. Why would anyone mess with a successful product?

It makes sense now that it’s under new ownership. They used to have coupons in the Valpak. The last two times I went to pick up pizza, it was a different vibe and the place was empty. Last night at almost 6pm, it was nearly empty.

The new recipe is not good. The quality is not good especially for the price. Lamppost has always been a bit pricey but it used to be worth it because it was a high quality pizza. Such a bummer. Last night was my last order.

Good deal 2 slices, small salad and drink for $12. Decent sized slices. The toppings were well prepared. I like not having a whole slice of bell pepper or onion. Much better the way they fine chop them.
They cook better too!!
