This attractive cafe popped up for us at just the right time. hungry in Reno, we wanted something with healthy delicious food, and an outdoor dining option. I chose the Bollywood Bowl and my companion had the Korean BBQ bowl. both were under 650 calories, and remarkably delicious. Both choices were loaded with good healthy vegetables, and both were seasoned to create a lasting impression. Neither of us chose to eat the whole bowl at one sitting. I got both lunch and dinner, and only 460 calories! Good healthy food fills you up easily. We don't have this restaurant in our home town, but I'm already starting the campaign to bring this gem to Santa Rosa. if you're in Reno or any other town (probably in Oregon) and you see one, give it a try. You're likely to find something that will end the hunger AND leave you remembering the delicious for a long time.

First time at Laughing Planet. I showed up just as they were opening and the server on duty welcomed me. She was so pleasant and helpful with everything. I decided on an herbal ice tea and the Thai mini burrito. Both were awesome and modestly priced. I picked up a resolution card too since I plan on coming back for more.

They have a great assortment of vegan options, I always enjoy their specials they rotate through. Service is fast and friendly, usually only taking a few minutes to turn around its great for a work lunch. They have plenty of seating inside and outside which is great for nice sunny days.

We have ordered takeout here many times- tonight will be our last. Arrived to pick up order and only 1 of three items ordered was ready in a bag like it was the only thing ordered . Three employees standing around doing nothing- the burritos were so small you could eat them in a few bites- not like we have had before - where I would save half for the next day . The bowl that was ordered came without the sour cream and avocado that was included in the dish.

Excellent staff and food especially vegetarian great ?
Dietary restrictions: I have to eat gluten/wheat free due to celiacs and a severe wheat allergy and there were many options and no worry of cross contamination. The owner was really friendly and a pleasure to talk to and the architecture was fabulous. Great ambiance. Food was awesome and very reasonable. Will definitely be back.

December 6, 2023 was my first time eating at Laughing Planet in Reno. I've ordered Tempeh Royale Burrito with request of onions added. The burrito was great in taste and temperature.My cook was Izzy and I give her an 5-star rating as a new customer. My burrito was well-done without even needing to request it.If no customers were in line, I saw Izzy restocking supplies and working at other tasks in the restaurant.I hope restaurant management reads this online review and I as a new customer recommend Izzy for employee of the month.

Found Laughing Planet one night after a local event that was by UNR as online said it was open late - woot woot!! Found parking on nearby Tenth & Virginia went inside but it looked like they were closing for the night, totallyyy bummed we started to head out. An employee popped out from the back asked if we were ready to order, so to our surprise and delight we were happy to realize they were still open and confirmed by them - we asked if we get a moment to look over the menu. We looked over the menu, grabbed a table and decided on the Korean BBQ Beef Bowl plus an order of chips with side of guacamole and for drinks Kombucha and Lemonade. Staff was friendly, helpful but unfortunately as we sat and sat wondering where are order of chips with guacamole wandered off in the completely empty restaurant - they had just forgotten that we had even ordered drinks or chips & guac...hence my minus 2 stars. The Korean BBQ Beef Bowl fixed our hunger pangs being deLISH, healthy and we would eat it again should we pop into Laughing Planet for a late-night healthy food option.
