Not what I expected it was like a hot pocket pupusa
And the pollo con pan tasted like adobada seasoning disgusting.sorry not the business for food atleast if your looking to have authentic food
Very disappointed
This food is great and I hate beans but they make great beans. The food is always fresh. But they are really expensive and won't give you anything extra on the side which is annoying when you've spend 20 yo 30 dollars on 2 items but other then that the food is good.
Great food
We used to love coming here for chicken pupusas. Unfortunately the last time we came we got 4 cheese pupusas and one chicken even though WE ORDERED 5 chicken. When we brought it to their attention they said we were wrong and there was chicken in the cheese only ones. I’ve never been so gaslighted before. And when we tried to nicely show them the chicken one the lady at the register refused to look at the pupusas or talk to me. So I kept trying to get her attention then she said she was going to call security. They clearly made a mistake but instead of fixing it they made it seem like we were being rude customers. Los Cipotes, you can't survive without customers, and from other reviews it looks like this is how to treat other customers as well. I will never come back and I will make sure to tell everyone I know in Reno about what happened.
Waited 15 min them ask for it they gave my food to some else, pupusas small taste good, I'm visiting from UT feel pying airport prices
You should definitely try dish number 8.
Despite there being 10 places to choose from inside the Reno Public Market, I always find myself drawn to El Cipotes. Their pupusas are simply unmatched. I love that everything is made fresh in-house, ensuring a delightful dining experience every time. The sauces are amazing and add the perfect kick to each bite. My go-to is the chicken pupusas with some spicy sauce - they never disappoint. I've tried the loco and other flavors as well, but the chicken pupusas are my staple for fueling Monday night trivia sessions. El Cipotes is a gem in the market, and I can't recommend it enough! The Service is top notch, and there's not much ambience, It's nestled inside the Public market's open space.
we have eaten here 4+ times in past & enjoyed it.
But this time our 2-pupusa order was incorrect & took 20 min. Rather than provide good service or comp us for the mistake, I was forced to pay for the forgotten pupusa.
We were charged $0.75 for credit card use & $0.50 each for to-go boxes WHILE EATING IN and told that’s just their new policy.
Disappointing. Wont return.
Never had El Salvadorian food before, the lady there suggested the pupusas, they were so good we will definitely come back and try other menu items 🤩
The food here is horrible, the pupusas are even the mother of dough and they look chubby. I don't recommend this place.

Food is really good, but they charge everyone 50 cents for to go boxes even if the order isn't to go. The nice woman who took my order said, "that's how the owner set up the system". Well, until the system is fixed, I won't be eating there anymore.

Really bad service. No refills on coffee, every single place where I have eaten give coffee refills. Beans were salty. Attitude of lady at register gives the sense of being there "just because" No Customer Service at all. I am definitely not coming back here. Too bad I can't give zero stars.
