It’s rare to find great Mexican food when there are so many average places. This place was amazing! Great variety of options, breakfast all day which is what a few of us ordered. We didn’t have to wait long to be seated, to have chips and salsa brought out and to have dinner brought out. Highly recommended if you’re in Reno!

My first time here and I got food poisoning. There was an up charge for everything and they don’t even tell you about it. Despite them drenching everything in cheese and enchilada sauce, the food was still unflavored. I do not recommend coming here if you’re looking for “good” food. I will say service was very good.

Los Compadres has been a part of my life for over 30 years and it's still my absolute favorite Mexican food restaurant. I'm turning 50 this year and have been eating here since I was 16, and let me tell you, they've never missed a beat.
Their chips and salsa are just awesome, love the hot, mild versions, served very quickly at the beginning of any visit. My go to order is the shrimp enchiladas with rice and beans... so, so, so delicious. And their guacamole? Hands down the best in town.
Beyond the amazing food, the atmosphere is just as impressive, warm, welcoming and visually beautiful. It's the kind of place where you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. And the service? Top of the line. In all these years, I've never had a bad server. They go above and beyond every single time.
If you're looking for great Mexican food with a long standing tradition of excellence, Los Compadres is it. Highly, highly recommend!
