It’s rare to find great Mexican food when there are so many average places. This place was amazing! Great variety of options, breakfast all day which is what a few of us ordered. We didn’t have to wait long to be seated, to have chips and salsa brought out and to have dinner brought out. Highly recommended if you’re in Reno!
Los Compadres has been a part of my life for over 30 years and it's still my absolute favorite Mexican food restaurant. I'm turning 50 this year and have been eating here since I was 16, and let me tell you, they've never missed a beat.
Their chips and salsa are just awesome, love the hot, mild versions, served very quickly at the beginning of any visit. My go to order is the shrimp enchiladas with rice and beans... so, so, so delicious. And...

Carlos is one of the best servers we’ve ever had! He’s always quick with our drinks and food, and we’re never left waiting for chips and salsa. His attentiveness and friendly attitude make every visit an excellent experience. Highly recommend asking for Carlos if you want top-notch service
