We were walking around downtown and saw Los Gallos Taqueria. We decided to go and try it. To my surprise the food is very good. I had a 2 taco plate. One hard and one soft. The hard shell was good and crunchy. The soft was full of meat. The salsa was nice and spicy. My wife had the chicken enchiladas. I would definitely eat here again when we visit. And I recommend Los Gallos Taqueria

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I ate here 4 days in a row and loved it more each time. All I can say is this is by far one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. The food is incredibly authentic and fresh. The burritos are massive too. The staff were so kind and the tables were clean. I did not care for Reno as a whole but if I find myself back here, my first stop will be Los Gallos!

This is a fantastic little hidden gem with a cozy atmosphere. The food is delicious, and the table service is excellent. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cold cerveza. The intimate setting makes it a great spot to unwind. Plus, it’s conveniently located near the casinos!

Food was plenty, affordable, and great tasting. Staff was helpful and checked in with me as I dined in. I had a table for one, midday midweek so it was quick and easy. I’ll come back for more. I’d love to see more drink options. But really, no negatives here. Btw, they had the best chips I ever had. Fresh and crispy.

I placed my order online by looking at the menu prices online and was charged almost double. The menu had fresh whiteout and was probably changed right before I showed up. I wouldn't be surprised although I used a ca number to call, the number is from a poor area. With all that being said I'd appreciate a gift card or refund for the price difference. The tip cup is the side hussle. Not only that but im known as a local chef and i would terminate any employee that would do something like that to a paying customer. Thank you. I ordered the super nachos with chicken the taco salad with chicken and Chile relleno al la carte.

It's a taco shop with super tasty grub. My go to when I'm craving authentic Mexican food. Los Gallos has the usual taco shop environment. Order at the counter, pick your seat and they will bring you your food. As for the food, my favorite is the fish tacos. These aren't battered and fried. The fish is maybe sautéed in a sauce (not sure.. cooking isn't my jam) however it's prepared, they are scrumptious and hearty. Pastor, carnitas, asada, and pollo tacos are good also. And the tortas are on point. Downtown style parking. Circus circus garage across the street or metered spots are around the corner. To go is an option but eating in house is the way much better.
