Great place
They have karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. I have so much fun here.
fun experience, lots of food, not fine dining, fun dining
Karaoke every Friday & Saturday! Amazing vibes and staff, looking forward to trying the food being around more often!
Excellent food and service!
I was sick, sinusitis, but it was the best time I had in Reno all week.
Pichon punch is therapeutic!!
I have beautiful memories going here as a child with my parents in the 70's and 80's.
This restaurant is immortal.
This establishment is a wonderful example of classic Reno! The food and service are both excellent.
Such a fantastic change of pace from the usual spots in Reno! Family style, very generous portions too. The lamb lollipops were cooked perfectly and the beef tongue was great as well. Service was spot on. Looking forward to coming back.
First of all a very unique fun and entertaining dining experience. Although they only have a handful of items on the menu, the whole course experience was great. The food started coming out and started with a great tasting vegetable soup, I got seconds not knowing what was ahead of us. Then came a salad, beans and chorizo which I thought was weird (super tasty) and chicken a rice. I personally think the chicken and rice was the best past of the entire meal. Then our entrees came out. I got a 10oz top sirloin steak and my gf got a shrimp special. I asked for medium rare and it came out medium well to well. The steak was not great. And I would not get it again. My GF said her shrimp was also not great and she didn’t finish it. The entrees were definitely not the best part of the meal but the overall experience was a 10/10. Next time I would just get the no entree dinner and be satisfied with that. We were out the door for about 120.00 with a picon punch drink each so it’s definitely not cheap. Sitting “family style” was super fun and we had a chance to talk with some really nice people. Would we do it again? Probably not but we would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Lively restaurant, we were seated near a table full of LARPers, celebrating a monk's birthday. Fun to see pirates and wizards at dinner.
Generous portions, but they ran out of basque rice that night boo! Without entree you get salad braised chicken and rice, french fries red wine and ice cream parfait. Entrees we tried were New York steak, braised beef tongue and leg of lamb. It was all delicious!
I ate here twice. The first time, my the meal was ok and the portions were big. I wasn’t wowed but I was full and satisfied. I came again and my experience was worse. The service was slow and some of the food options were sold out. The burgers were dry and the chicken was overcooked. I won’t be coming here again.
Great little hidden local gem!
All time favorite place. Meals are delicious.
Louis' is a Reno staple. If you're visiting it's worth stopping by. Born and raised in Reno I've been here a lot. It's a wonderful place to sit down and try basque food which is served family style. You will order your main dish but share all the sides. In some cases you may even share a table with another family (but your food will be your own amd not shared) depending upon how busy they are. It's a really neat experience and the food is fantastic! If you like garlic, then add it to your main dish, and it will keep the vampires away! 😉 Last but certainly not least, grab a Picon or two. But be careful, one's not enough, and three's too many! Lol!
Enjoy your basque flavor, cheers!
