The service was really good, but I’ve had better coffee before. The location is adorable and homey, and we went on a Saturday and it wasn’t crowded!I recommend the spot.

Food was excellent, but not sure what they have to gain with the ridiculous loud music. Very hard to visit with yir dinner company.

Lol I never want to give a small business a bad review but I do have feedback. I wasn't able to buy anything even though I wanted some coffee. It was a slow Sunday morning and no customers. I patiently waited while a potential candidate had a long conversation with the only person working there, without any acknowledgment i was there from the employee. I waited a few minutes and ended up leaving without even being to see what they were selling. I could have easily spoke up etc, but I think that's a bit of bad form. A simple "hey illl be with you in a second" would have kept me around lol

Cute little place in the basement! Prompt and friendly service and a great place to chat with friends! Coffee was yummy and saw that they offer flights which sounds like fun to try with friends!

Finally got a chance to try this coffee shop out . It is located in the food court area of the basement . It has a really cozy vibe down there. Nice dim lights and cozy couches. I tried the vanilla latte 1/2 flavor. Really hot, very tasty. The vanilla had a vanilla bean vibe and I was lovin it. I wanted to order food but it had limited availability from the menu . I would Def get the vanilla latte again.

Whenever I try a new coffee place I order a mocha, because it tests time, creaminess, and flavor both of the chocolate and the espresso.I was delighted to find Maple Moon Coffee Company has a decaf espresso that's unique and delicious.I also had a chocolate chocolate chip muffin Wonderful, and not too sweet.Like the review that got me in here I can attest it is better than Starbucks, much better. Enjoy The Basement!

This is a cute little coffee shop in the basement. The coffee is good, as they serve Coffeebar coffee, and they have some good breakfast options too, including egg bites and avocado toast. They only had one employee working, but we were the only ones in there for about 20 minutes. Great place to grab a drink if you're wandering about the basement.

Many millenia ago, I managed an independent coffee shop from the sloppy start through the transformation into a successful and popular hangout. I'm hopeful that this experience might provide some helpful insight. I'll start with the negative so that I can end on a positive note, as that's how I prefer to receive criticism ?.We ordered two iced coffee blended drinks, a double espresso, and a dry cappuccino :•The iced coffees were beautifully presented; velvety, creamy, and well-blended texture was spot on. However, after tasting both, I am disappointed to say that I did not like either of them. They tasted strangely watery and quite bland. Despite adding extra espresso, I could not detect any coffee flavor whatsoever. The flavored syrups were definitely the real killer, though. I disliked the toffee nut, but disliked the macadamia nut and brown sugar cinnamon even more. Perhaps a different brand would do the trick. Preparing espresso shots ristretto style would probably help with adding rich coffee notes, as well as reducing/eliminating watery taste. Preparing espresso in advance then keeping in fridge for cold drinks is always beneficial. Good call including straws as it's super irritating when receiving frozen beverages without them, however you might up the size. You wouldn't believe how many requests/complaints we received about thin straws! The thirsty masses will angrily demand bubble tea style straws eventually, no doubt about it. And I can't say that I disagree.•The espresso traveled well, and I have no complaints. It tasted like a medium dark roast to me, and no hint of scorching or bitterness. I cannot comment on the crema as it had traveled, but I could tell in taste that the shots were pulled perfectly. The staff included a preemptive note and $5 gift card in case the espresso went bitter in transit. Exceptional customer service, and marketing!! ? That alone ensured they'll receive another order from me; not so much for the discount (though it is a perk for sure), but because I truly appreciate the thoughtful gesture.•I determine ranking of coffee shops that I try out by the quality of their cappuccinos, so that was the real test here. You guys nailed it!! Beautifully crafted, perfect amount of fluffy foam, and more expertly pulled espresso shots. No scorched or burnt taste whatsoever. Silky, creamy texture; still warm and foamy upon arrival. The perfect cappuccino, especially when prepared as dry breve, requires mad skills to create; you guys are true artists! ? There was a hint of sour in the breve, but was only noticeable after much scrutiny. This is either just the brand, or perhaps it's close to time to thoroughly clean the frother from inside out. If you guys would offer these in a larger size, and add the option of adding more than one extra espresso shot to make up the difference, you'd have a new regular customer. Having said that, I like my caffeinated beverages quite strong, so the addition of one shot to this 12 oz balanced everything together flawlessly for me.The total for the four drinks was around $20, before tipping for delivery, which was a pleasant surprise. That is about what I'm used to paying for two drinks at most coffee shops as of late. Everything was prepared accurately according to order notes, which is a huge win. This is shockingly uncommon in my experience.Overall, an awesome first ordering experience. I'll definitely be back in the near future. Thank you for your thoroughness and thoughtfulness!! I'll be jonesing for another cappuccino for days.☕️ Kid-friendliness: "Kid temperature" is offered on all items

Walked over here from my room Downtown during my visit. The whole basement area looks amazing. It was closed when I arrived. I was told for maintenance. Pretty sad that I came here and that the Yelp page wasn't current with info about their temp closure. I'll try again next time I'm in Reno.

Visited Reno for a weekend and was surprised to find this quaint little coffee shop. I usually grab hot coffee but grabbed some raspberry flavored cold brew with an orange cold top. Sooooo delicious. My only regret is not stopping by one more time on my way out of town. Definitely take a swing by to grab a drink and check out some of the other shops in The Basement.

Google Maps picked the one negative review as a summary for this establishment. I figure they must've done something right if they ticked off Google's nasty algo.
