We were traveling thru, stopped for the night, and found Mari Chuy's on the Find Me Gluten Free app (I am gluten allergic). This place is a jewel! Sergio was fabulous & knowlegable, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere fun! I had the jicaima tacos--absolutely mouthwatering. They make the cilantro lime sauce in-house, which is the best i've tasted. Hubs was impressed with the Carne Asada, too. Worth a return trip to Reno for this food & service!

We had such a great time Sat night! We arrived early and it wasn't too busy yet. The atmosphere and decor is so fun! It's a little small but they have outside seating if the weather is nice. The staff is phenomenal! So sweet! It was a friends birthday and they treated her so special and sang to her too. The food was decent. I felt it lacked a little flavor. I like salted chips so I just added it myself. I had a wet carne asada burrito, and it was very good, the sauce just needed a tad more flavor for my liking. All in all the night was a success.

When we walked in, we were greeted by "the dishwasher" the proud owner, and the rest of the staff. The staff was attentive, friendly, prompt.. I felt like I was in my grandma's house, como familia. if you're visiting Sparks, NV nearby the Nugget hotel, take a walk to Mari Chuy's enjoy the atmosphere stay for the FOOD, you ain't be disappointed ☆☆☆☆☆Parking: nearby garageWheelchair accessibility: it's available

I had a combination fajitas, beef and chicken, to go. I'm from Texas and typically don't try Mexican food out of the Lone Star State. These fajitas were really good.
I love their food! Most importantly, their customer service is so wonderful. They treat me like family when I come in for a quick bite to eat in the afternoon❤

Went there on Valentines Day for a comedy show, the place was busy but not packed and It has a nice ambiance and I thought the food smelled good but they charged me 10 dollars for a Pacifico, which is honestly ridiculous and I wasn't interested in any other food or drinks after that. Other than some PA problems, the comedy show was pretty good but I won't be going here again.
The margaritas were light on tequila and heavy on mix, which might not appeal to everyone. Consider checking out other restaurants known for their stronger margaritas.

I had always enjoyed dining at Mary Chuy’s but today’s experience was not the best. 2 of 4 plates that we ordered had hair on it. It wasn’t something that landed on it. The food seemed like it was cooked with the hair inside as it was intertwined with the rest of the food. They were all different plates. I ask the owner/staff to pay more attention to what you serve because it was a very dissatisfying experience and we don’t think we will be going back.
