very dry masala dosa. burnt lentils in dosa. worst i have ever seen. i didnt even risk eating it. please avoid this joke of a restaurant at all costs. the employees clearly dont care about their customers.

Nice and fresh mom and pop shop. Food is delish AND gluten free, which is a bonus for many of us. Highly recommend any of the dosas!

Decided to try this place because I'd seen beautiful pics of their food on IG. Went in on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered a potato curry dish for $14. I've had better. Curry was very spicy but lacked the flavors of the Indian cuisine I'm used to. Potatoes were mushy & and the dish itself had a mashed potato consistency. I feel like it was leftovers from a previous day that was warmed up. The bread that was served with the dish was oily & a bit undercooked. I was disappointed with my first visit here. Will not be returning.

Visited from NY. I rate them 5 star based on the food. Quality, presentation, taste, hospitality etc. their filter madras's coffee in the end was awesome. Being a New Yorker where we easily get these cuisine , it was a gem of a place to find on Reno. Tastes exactly like we get in NY. Definitely a must visit place for anyone who wants to try South Indian food.

The food was delicious. Nothing disappointed us. I had a combo of masala dosa and something else the order taker suggested when they didn't have the vegetables with coconut sauce that was my first choice. It was my first time eating South Indian cuisine and I do not know the names of what else I ate. It came with a delicious fritter which was crunchy on the outside, soft inside, two dipping sauces - red pepper, and coconut, and some kind of soup with tomatoes and black lentils (?). My husband had a combo with eggplant and tomato curry, cheese curry and spinach paneer, and a large crunchy chip for dipping. The food was great and it doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. It's really almost fast food and the ambience inside is just that. Do a Saturday night out, I would have enjoyed more of a restaurant ambience with waiters instead of ordering at a counter. That won't stop me from returning though. Very satisfying meal. Good wheelchair access, too.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Reno. I typically get the mysore masala dosa and it is soooo good. Everything is always super fresh and I love that it is family owned and operated.

Worst!Been 9 years in America. Never ate this kind of pathetic dosa, paneer. No taste, no salt, no masala, no spice, terrible tasting oil. Shoved boiled potato inside oily dosa. It was not sambar. It was just dal which tasted sweet. Disgrace to Tamil food

The curries and sambar were very watered down and had no flavor. Food was very mediocre. Coffee felt like instant coffee rather than filter coffee.

Had dinner there on a Sunday night. The food was great! Very unique and flavorful dishes. The place was clean, and the gentleman that was there was pleasant. The menu was slightly confusing, some pictures would be nice. We ended up googling what everything was that helped with the decision making process. We tried the large crepe with curry potato (masala Dosa), a donut like fried fritter (vada), and curry goat. All 3 were good. Would recommend if your the type of person who enjoys spices, strong flavors, and curries.

Mmmmmm--Wonderful food, very welcoming owner, and a chic, modern interior. Everything sounded so good, but I chose the Poori and Potato Masala, and also had a Mango Lassi. Everything was delicious. The food is cooked to order instead of sitting around to be rewarmed when ordered. You can smell the heavenly spices as the food is being prepared. I will have to go back many many times to try more of the dishes on the menu! Not only did the owner make me feel welcome, she made me feel that she appreciated my business.

Really good but portions are so small and a bit on the pricer side! Our total was for three items was around $47 and we left feeling kind of hungry. However, their chutneys are really good! -1 star just for the price and portion size.

When I was ordering, the female taking my oder was not masked and coughing into her hand. The card reader (tap to pay/chip) wasn't working and she took my card from it after bending it a few times (not severely). During the order, she was in a phone call on speaker phone. However, the food does taste good. The chicken chettinad is what I got.

Call and confirm if the restaurant is open. The business hours and hours online suggest they're open all day. However, we are standing right outside and the restaurant is closed. Please check before making the trip.Restaurant owners: Would truly help customers if you could responsibly update your working hours and honor it.

I must of arrived in the restaurant right when it opened or not long after because no other customers where in there, the staff where sitting in the tables, and they looked a little surprised to me walk in. The atmosphere was 'weird' enough that I just decided to do take out instead of sitting down to eat. That stated while ordering everyone was polite and helpful. I had ordered the Eggplant and Tomato Curry for take out and drove to a nearbye park, I figured it would be a nice way to enjoy a meal and get some vitamin d at the same time. However, upon opening the take out bag I noticed they did not include any utensils, so I had to go grab some. The I won't lie, the Eggplant and Tomato Curry did not look appealing to me at all once I opened it and I thought I would hate it. To my surprise, it was actually really good and had some mild heat (I love super spicy dishes - this was mild for me). While not hot, this dish had a really hearty and rich flavor profile. The ingredients where fresh. My only complaint is that the eggplant was just a tad bit overcooked for my preference. That stated I'd still order the dish again, it's positives vastly outshined a textured preference. I'd love to go back soon and order a lentil dish.
